tick data is artificial, try forex tester
Hi,
I have the possibility to get backtest data.
What data's do I need for the best "true" result?
Tickdata or Minute-Data or ALL Timeframes??
You can make other timeframes from the M1 data . . . you should use tick data but the issue is how will you use it in MT4 ? there is a method but it is not trivial and takes a little effort. Info here: http://eareview.net/tick-data
You're awesome, you know that ?
I knew this tick-data tutorial and I would like to do it in that way for systems with very frequently ordering.

I looked at the forex-Tester, but I haven't seen any advantage against my metatrader backtesting with good historical data. Have I missed an important thing there??
I also knew the period converter from metatrader.
But is it better to import every timeframe separately or only the M1-data and convert the other timeframes?
