downgrade metaTrader version

I'm wondering if there is a way to downgrade metaTrader to previous build?

if u have an older version just copy the EXE files

What files are changing from version to version?
 

I have 2 version.

1 is with build 402 and the seconds with build 406.

how do I change the new version to the old? Just change the exe doesn't work for me.

Does someone know which files are changing when updating version of MT?

 
You can try re-downloading the old version from your broker's site. If you find it and reinstall, rename the liveupdate.exe to something else. That way it wouldn't bother you to update until you feel ready. If you cannot find on the brokers site then search the web.
 
I did that one time and had problems thereafter with mt4 crashing and freezing up.
 

uninstall the present version of yours

and reinstall mt4 with the older version

this the only way to downgrade

i've one here with B229 if it too old just try searching on 4shared, maybe someone uploaded the newer version

Not sure if I am posting to the right place but can anyone help with this little problem?


I have been using Meta trader 4 with no problems but since last Friday everytime I try and get into the system on my computer it keeps saying that a debugger has been found and to erase it from the memory. I don't know where to look and have tried all sorts of things to access the system. Spoke to customer support who don't know anything about it.

The program is running fine on my laptop.
