New Version: MetaTrader 4 Client Terminal Build 226 - page 3

^^ there's supposed to be a video showing the fibo channel issue but for some reason it doesnt show up in my browsers.

Fibo channel issue again, recorded exactly as per https://www.mql5.com/en/articles/1520 with two exceptions:

1. codec is version 1.4 instead of 1.0 (newest available afaik, downloaded from camstudio.org)

2. compression used is LZO instead of GZIP. for some reason my camstudio won't record if GZIP is set and wants to reset the codec settings to default (which is MS Video 1).

Ok, since video doesn't seem to work, here's the description of the issue:

If you draw a trendline through two points (say through two highs) and then draw an equidistant channel through the same two points, the resulting lines should overlap. And they do. However if instead of an equidistant channel you draw a fibo channel through those same two points, the resulting lines do not overlap but jump above and below the original trendline. This is very visible if the two points that define the trendline (and the two out of three that define the channel) are a few bars apart and the window is resized.

That's strange because my IBFX and FXDD platforms have reacted the exact same - both indicate "Old Tick value" and "Trading context busy" so often that I might get one trade out of fifty tries. If this was a known issue, before the update, why not tell everyone?
