2.) Genetic algorithm?

3.) Walk-forward script?

The system is a GA... the system works when there isn't oscilation (whithout trend) in the prices...

I did a specific indicator that can show for me the trend

Then.. there are some calculations in the price.. then, my system put the order for buy or sell...

It is :D

 

That's what I was figuring. I am finishing up a GA that does quite well over the years - nowhere as well as yours does, but hopefully in time it will. I also haven't tried using it as a scalper. Maybe I should!!!

I hadn't thought of looking for periods w/o oscillation... perhaps I need to add additional parameters for tolerances in indicator divergences.

Call me crazy, but EURGBP seems to be much more stable for my GA than EURUSD. This is the pair which you trade with, right?
