Push-Notification comes with the next "Version 15.12", this week.

If "show_first_Alert_arrow_only=true"

- it works in backtest and live conditions

- it doesn't show arrows in history, there is no need, it's only for notification-use in live conditions.

have a look in the description of the indicator:

.....

"Settings for => only the first signal after a change of direction will appear (not in history, live or with the strategy tester only)"

Because whenever I change Time Frame than back again after a few candle the arrow gone if I use "show_first_Alert_arrow_only=true"

thank you for your questions!

Yes, I do use my indicators.

At first I have a look on the very first, but I look on following momentum as well. It depends where the momentum appears. Your issue and the one from Pip Collector (last comment) is almost the same and very complex. I'll make a video with a few examples over the weekend and post it here.

I love to trade M15 and H1 and sometimes I trade more than the first arrow, if the price is close to the trend, usually after a correction.

The video to your question "personally do you only take the 1st arrow after the trend change please advise?" comes tonight.

we had that question before, please watch the following video.

The indicator needs history-data from different timeframes, so before you start the backtest, please open all timeframes once (from the tested Instrument / symbol), the MT4 will store the history to your MT4 - folder, you can close the timeframes after the data appeared in the chart-window.

If that won't work, please tell me what MT4 - version / Build and which broker you use.

close_to_trend means, that the momentum candle is very close to the trend lines, typically for a momentum after a correction or a breakthrough.

Open two charts with different settings, like I did in the following picture. Try the same with close_to_trend=true, trend=2, the second chart with trend=0 and see the difference.

Hi, I rented the indicator for one month. It works great, but I cannot get the email to work. I have the email setup correctly because my other indicators work okay. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to get the email to work?

I have no idea, I've just tried "send_Email" with 4 different broker from different countries and continents, live and demo accounts, all emails were send correct.

Which versions do you use, this are the versions, that I work with:

MetaTrader 4, Version: 4.00 Build 950

Momentum solo: Version 16.3 - 2016.03.17 (published today)

Windows 7 pro, 64-bit SP1

If nothing works, install the latest Metatrader in an other directory and try the momentum-solo there.

Please let me know, if the troubleshooting didn't work.

Hello Claus,

Thank you for the fast response. I rented the indicator this morning.

MT4 Build 950

Momentum Solo: V 16.2 How do I get the upgrade? Maybe this is the issue.

Windows 7 64 bit

I restarted both my live and demo mt4 platforms and it still does not fire off an email. Reason I need the email to fire off is when i'm at work and get the alert, I can look at the chart and make the trade.

Maybe the updated version will allow the email to work.
