Introducing our new MQL5 Expert Advisor, Trendy Tunnels! This trading system follows the trend by analyzing two moving averages tunnels of different periods, combined with real-time analysis of price action and ADX indicator readings for confluence. 

It is a trend-follower system. You can take advantage of booking profits from more significant trends while minimizing risk and maximizing returns. The expert advisor automates an algorithm to identify trends and determine optimal entry points, allowing you to make informed decisions based on accurate data.

The strategy: 

Trendy Tunnels uses a confluence of two moving averages tunnels, price action, and ADX. You can find it on the internet and called as Cobra System.

To initiate a buy trade, the first candle must close above the filter tunnel and pierce out of the signal tunnel. We then await confirmation from the second candle, which should not be a reversal pattern like a doji, hammer, or inverted hammer. The second candle should be bullish and make a higher high. If the second candle is bearish, we wait for the third candle to see if it's bullish and makes a higher high.

At this point, we check the ADX and make sure it's above a certain level and trending up before placing a buy order. We don't trade on Fridays to minimize our risk exposure.

Our stop loss is set at the low of the signal filter to protect our capital. To book profits, we trail the stop loss 10 pips each time the price moves 10 pips in our favor until we reach break even. This helps us lock in gains while minimizing risk.

The opposite is used for a sell trade.

It is not a risk strategy, it does not use martingale, averaging, or grid. Each trade, needs to have its own stop loss. . With a focus on technical analysis and risk management, it's a great tool for both experienced and novice traders alike.

3. Lot Size Management: You have two options when it comes to lot size - either a fixed lot size or a percentage of your equity.

4. Stop Loss: Every trade requires a stop loss, which can be set to either the filter SMA, signal EMA, or a fixed value.

5. Take Profit: You can set your take profit to be either a fixed value in points or a risk-to-reward ratio relative to your stop loss.

6. Trailing Stop: The Trendy Filter offers two types of trailing stops: one that follows the original strategy, or a simple trailing stop based on the moving average.

7. Partial Take Profit: This feature is not part of the original strategy, but it's an important tool for cashing out profits. You can set a level at which you want to take action, either by setting your stop loss to break even or by cashing out a portion of your profit.
