1. How It Works (The Workflow)

The EA transforms a "trigger" trade into a professional trade with calculated risk:

  1. Open a manual trade with a specific lot size (0.01, 0.02, or 0.03).

  2. Immediately set a manual Stop Loss (SL).

  3. The EA intervenes: it closes the test trade and opens a new one with the correct lot size to risk exactly the amount or percentage chosen in the settings.

  4. Automatic Target: The EA sets the Take Profit based on your desired Risk/Reward ratio.

2. Installation and Activation via Market

Since you downloaded the EA from the Market, you don't need to copy any files manually.

  1. Find the EA: In your terminal (MT4 or MT5), go to the "Navigator" window.

  2. Market Subfolder: Expand "Expert Advisors" and you will find a folder named "Market". The EA is located there.

  3. Apply to Chart: Drag and drop RiskManagementEA onto the chart of the instrument you wish to trade.

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR TRADING:

  • Common Tab: When loading, ensure the "Allow live trading" (or "Allow Algo Trading") box is checked.

  • Algo Trading Button: In the top toolbar of MetaTrader, the "Algo Trading" (or AutoTrading) button must be GREEN. If it is red, the EA cannot function.

3. Configuration Parameters

  • ActivePercentageRisk: Calculates risk based on a % of the balance.

  • Active_Fix_in_Money_Risk: Calculates risk based on a fixed amount (e.g., $100).

  • LEVEL 1/2/3 Risk: Define the risk associated with the "trigger" lots 0.01, 0.02, and 0.03.

  • Break Even & Partial Close: Automates profit protection once a certain number of pips is reached.

4. Golden Rule

The EA strictly requires a Stop Loss to calculate the lot size. Without an SL, the EA won't know how many lots to open to respect your risk and will not execute the trade.
