Real Test Day1 with EURUSD + GBPUSD, settings need indeed tweaking...will post setfiles if it works profitable. I was not able to get it to work with USDJPY until now. It vanished my balance at some point. Still trying new settings. So you use standard settings for USDJPY Rene? I wonder if it could be Broker related. I use robomarkets. You IC markets? Hey Torsten, yeah I think it might be broker related. Different brokers have different server times. I use IC Markets and I think their server use GMT+2. Maybe you have to adjust the time a bit.

Is it possible to put a function in the EA which closes some precent of the total opened lot size for instance 50 % when the breakeven function triggered?

Hey, thank you! If you like it please consider leaving a 5 star rating ;) Also thank you for the idea. Unfortunately I receive a lot of ideas or recommendations for new features. If I implement all of these the EA will be really messy really soon. So that is why I think I will keep it like this for the moment. Hope you can understand this.

Hey, I am not sure if I understand your question. You have multiple options. You can close the trades using the TP and/or SL. Also you have the option to close the trades at the end of the day by setting a time in the inputs.
So first week with EA done with results see below. Find attached the settings i used until today. I'm using roboforex with GMT +1. Feel free to test yourself within strategy tester. I will report next week how it went. Hopefully the EA will be amortized by the end of next week :) best regards Torsten

I do have a quick question. My broker doesn't allow trades that are opened and closed within 5 seconds, they'll close the account if it happens, and this EA does that with the settings I've found. (I ran the optimizer for about a week total to figure out the best settings for US30).
Is there any way that a minimum amount of time in the trade could be set up with the EA? So for example, the trade won't close unless it was opened 6+ seconds ago?
I know it's a very specific and odd request, and I understand if it's either not possible or if you want to keep the EA as is.

Hi, René! I finally got the chance to set up and use this EA. First day using it had great results, 2 years of backtesting had outstanding results.

Hey, thanks for the comment. I am glad you like the EA. I think the easiest way is to change the broker if this is crucial for your strategy. I do not think I will make adjustments soon.

I tested it with your settings for GBPUSD, but the graph is just heading down and down. NOT GOOD!!
Test period: 2010-2016.
So far, I have not found any setup that could be profitable in the long run.

I am running the EA now on a demo account, doing some testing/checking before going live with it.
I think it will be a great addition, but I am having a technical issue which I can not seem to resolve, and I hope that you can help.
I am only using it on USDJPY, and the issue is that, after the buy stop triggers, and I am in the trade, it moves SL to BE within a few minutes, and so I hit SL at BE almost immediately after entry.
So, in other words it begins to trail too soon, and too close behind price.
This happened this morning, 10 Jan, and also yesterday morning.
Strangely, yesterday my sell stop also was triggered, but in this case SL did not move (the trade later went to its full SL). But, on the buy stop it did the same thing as today.
I am enclosing several screen captures showing my EA settings, the EXPERTS, JOURNAL and HISTORY tabs, showing the trades in question, as well as two screen shots of the charts, showing the trades.
In all of this, can you see a reason why the trailing stop is kicking in so early and so close?
My intention was that the SL would sit at the other end of the range, until the trade was at least in safe profit, then it should move to BE, and trail from there.
But, so far I can not seem to get that to happen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Rene, thanks much!
