Today the Manual Trade Panel EA MT4/5 was updated with the addition of Show Virtual Levels on Chart true/false option in (inside) Manual Trade Panel EA MT4/5 settings. If it is true the virtual levels are shown on the chart, including profit/loss values of the trade on mouse hover.

Dear users of the Manual Trade Panel EA MT4/5. Today I've updated the EA and now the time response to virtual take profit and stop loss levels is much improved.

Please update to the new version.

Thanx nice feature. Is it possible to make them mouse-movable?  How can I change this values?

I will see if I can do it in the next update Martin. You can't change the virtual values after the trade is opened.

Hello friends,

Today I updated the Manual Trade Panel EA MT5 with the addition of Basket Take Profit, Stop Loss, Break Even and Trailing Stop Loss settings for the overall profit/loss of all trades that have been opened by it.

If you want the Basket settings to be applied in all trades of all symbols that have been opened by the panel, remember to put Manage All Panel Symbols Trades=true.

Please update your Manual Trade Panel EA MT5.

Hello friends,

Today I updated the Manual Trade Panel EA MT5 with the addition of font size setting, that will allow the user to change the font size of the panel symbols and settings. This will solve panel display issues on large resolution screens.

Please update your Manual Trade Panel EA MT5.

P.S. You should change the font size when you attach the EA on your chart, it will not be updated if you change it when it is already loaded.

Dear friends,

I updated the Manual Trade Panel EA MT5 with the addition of an auto Partial Closure setting for all Manual Trade Panel EA MT5 opened trades. The user will be able to choose the percentage of the take profit distance in which the Partial Closure will be triggered, the percentage of the trade's lot size that will be partially closed and also to move the stop loss to break even (or not) for the remainder of the trade.

Please update your Manual Trade Panel EA MT5.

Dear friends,

Manual Trade Panel EA MT5 has been updated with the following additions/fixes:

1. An issue with the opening of some lot sizes was fixed.

2. Some users asked that they would like the Manual Trade Panel EA MT5 to remember the on panel inputs (Lot Size Option, Take Profit, Stop Loss, Break Even, Trailing SL settings etc.) when the terminal is restarted. This is possible now.

3. A Magic Numbers to Manage option was added above the Magic Numbers Not to Manage setting, to allow easier and faster inputs of your options.

4. The Automatic Partial Closure setting in the inside Manual Trade Panel EA MT5 settings, was enriched with 2 more levels, increasing the Take Profit Partial Closure levels to 3. Also 3 Stop Loss Partial Closure settings have been added.

5. Also a user asked for a Hedge option on the Manual Trade Panel EA MT5 on panel settings and it has been implemented. In addition the hedge trade can be opened with no or reversed TP/SL levels, with Synchronized Closure along with the original trade and with a Lot Size Multiplier that allows the hedge trade to have the same, smaller or larger lot size than the original trade.

6. Profit/Loss values have been added on the Close Buy / Close Sell / Close Profit / Close Loss / Close All buttons to give a better visualization of the panel's/account's trades profit/loss information. There is also a Hide/Show P/L button to allow the user to hide these profit/loss values if they are distracting.

7. A new field has been added on the Manual Trade Panel EA MT5 that shows the current symbol's trades profit/loss information. All current symbol's trades that are managed by the Manual Trade Panel EA MT5 will be closed if it is clicked, to allow a better control on same symbol's trades.

Please update your Manual Trade Panel EA MT5.

Dear Eleni Anna

I'd like to recommend two new functions for your manual trade panel: An optional devisor of 100 in the set up to be applied to the forex points in order to make trading of indexes easier, and a function for the panel to remember its position on the chart when switching between charts and after a new start of MT5. Thank you very much in advance for your responsiveness.

Hello and thank you for your purchase. As for your requests, I don't understand the first and as for the second, the Manual Trade Panel EA MT4/5 remains on the same spot when you click between different symbols/charts with the symbol buttons on the panel. It does reposition on terminal restart, but I don't think that's a big deal.

Thanks for your answer. As for the panel position: When I switch between assets installed on the panel, the panel jumps to the upper left corner although I positioned the panel before in the lower right corner. Positioning after a restart is indeed no big deal. As for the points: The basis for index trading, DE40 or USTEC, is one index point, representing one USD or EUR. So it's confusing tu use forex points for take profit and stop loss, because you'd have to interpret and calculate price action on the basis of 1/100 USD or EUR.

Sorry, I have to respecify the issue with the panel position: The relocation of the panel only takes place when reloading an asset from the drop down list of MT5 (not to confuse with reloading MT5). A relocation does not occur when switching assets on the panel itself.

That is correct, I've just tried it myself and doesn't relocate on panel symbols usage.

That is quite tricky, I will have to see about it. If you are dealing with both sets of symbols frequently, forex symbols and indexes, maybe its worth having 2 charts with one Manual Trade Panel EA setup for forex and another for indexes.

Thanks again for your effort. I'm actually only dealing with a set of index symbols, and I'm not engaged in forex trading at all.

Then bring the panel to your own needs and leave it like that, it will reload your favourite on panel Risk/TP/SL etc. settings upon terminal restart.

I can easily live with the existing behavior that the selected panel position is maintained on the chart when switching between assets on the panel itself. But trading would be easier for me if you could implement index points as a compliment to forex points.

Give me an example please because I still don't understand what you mean. What is the index points?

Zeitl

The smallest unit for all index CFDs is the point, and a point always represents a value of one USD. All your calculations when trading index CFDs are about these points and about the corresponding USD value, this relates to the values of TP and SL, and it implies that you don't have to care about the decimal digits after the decimal point. For example, when you buy one contract of the DJ30 index at 32737,30 and you sell it at 32747,30 you achieved a profit of 10 points, meaning 10 USD. There are brokers who offer trading platforms that allow for this kind of index trading, unfortunately MT5 doesn't offer this feature. However, there was one EA offering this feature, but the author was recently banned from the MQL5 community.

I still don't understand what you are asking?

You are asking for something that is not available in MT5, or nobody else is offering it?

For your information 1 point is no always 1 USD, this is only true for symbols/instruments with the USD as base currency.

By the way, what is the point of so much blank space in your message?
