How does this EA handle indices, I was testing and set the distance to 20 but my DAX trade went into recovery mode @ -2, Is the distance different for indices

Distances are in Points. May be your symbol is 1-digit floating number. for example if your symbol is 1-digit and you want to start on 20 loss, must enter the value : 200.

Thanks for responding promptly , am i right to assume that if my EA  initiates a long trade just before the instrument enters  an overbought zone and price starts falling , with RSI filter enabled 

the Recovery will open short trades ? and  secondly I received a pop alert saying I should insert the url address for ec.forexprostools.com in the advisors , where should this be  and lastly 

Will I need the Recovery2 version for a Grid EA ?

Loss Recovery 3 place orders on the same direction of original order. Loss Recovery 1,2 use opposite orders to recover in-loss orders.

click tools/options/Expert Advisors and Enable Allow Webrequest and add the address to the list.

Thanks for explaining can I use both Loss Recovery 3 and 2 on the same account ? i.e have 2 charts so I use 3 for retracements  less than 1 ATR and 2 for hedging 

Yes, you can.

Just make sure only one of them activated on each order.

How come there is no field to specify a Magic Number in the settings ? I want to configure to only recovery trades with a specific Magic Number

This is the issue of MQL market on terminal. Download latest version from website.

As far as I know, the only way to install the new version is from 'Market' in the MT4 terminal, but it is not working.

Please teach me how can I download this version from website, because I can't find it.

2. restart your terminal. may be fix.

3. If not fixed, contact the MQL5 service desk. This is an issue of MQL5.com and not EA.

I find it incredible that the makers of this bot think EVERYONE can understand what all the settings are about ???

Think of your average investor,, they join a broker, buy a bot or signal or trade themselves, then get in trouble, spend a small amount ( relatively) on a bot and click and add it to a graph. 

That's it ..

They do not want to be having to select a lot of technical things , ie, whether to use ATR or not, or any of those internal type settings.

Its all highly technical and the help and information on how they work - hardly any in fact.

Even backtesting is not doable - what do you mean you have to fiddle with a lot of things before you can do a backtest.

I was hoping that the  bot would detect all losses on a chart and simply do its thing .. the only thing that it would need to to know is how fast or alternatively the size of the starter trade and thats it.

It surely has to be up to be bot to pick the market and know how to act, whether to increase by 1.5 etc.

With this level of attention to detail that you guys have put into it, it is simply too confusing with all those options- without a lot more pdf help and graphics and videos -before anyone can be confident in what they are doing to risk their Bank on.

When I click an option to do nothing for example, hidden in there is a drop down selection of things to choose from

It is just too confusing and without being able to add it and run a backtest without more arcane settings and your own internal coding type language, its impossible to use this with confidence on any largish account, I simply cannot risk it without a lot more info sorry.
