EA will wait for enough uptrend move and will close all positions with BE. (your original wrong positions and EA opened positions for recovery.)
Hello I have a robot I use that makes great income but when the market goes on a trend or has major volatility in one direction the bot does martingale and opens several positions in the wrong direction. It could be around 10-11 positions that all are larger in lot size. The starting lot is like .02 or .04 and then he larger ones are around .44 which Loss Recovery is best for this ? Right now I am renting the #1 version. Thanks for your input.

what is the recommended setting for recovery (strategy 1) for gold,
My broker provides 2 decimal for gold like 1732.50
(example 1 bought gold at 1732.50 and want the ea to start recovering from the price goes down to 1730.50 or at the loss of 200 $ per 0.10 lot. account size is 1000 USD and leverage is 1:500)
Kindly advise the setting for above example.
what value should i put in input setting - Fixed Distance To Start (Points) ?, - Distance of Position (Points) ?

One settings for distances is 1000 and 1000 if you want fast recovery.
Other settings for distances is 2000 and 2000 if you want slow and safest recovery.
1730.50 is not a good point to start recovery. This is only 20$ loss!

i m using the LR1 EA on demo on Gold (two decimal a/c), setting 500, 500 (every 5 usd move there is action hapenning, if i keep it more than 500 or 5 $ like 1000 or 1500, there no action whole day coz of no much volatility) and in- 50% op- 50%
i can see if the initial loss is 300 $ during the process its taking the loss to as high as 700 $ which is more than double. you said it will increase the loss dd a bit only.
what is ur advise to optimize.

Recommended settings are 10usd for aggressive and 20usd for normal recovery of GOLD. You are used super aggressive settings and must have enough margin on the account for correct operation of EA.
What is the new Update on 18 sep
