is it possible to apply stop loss to all orders except some specific orders for example by selecting their ticket.

I have a few trades that I wan to keep opened... all the others should respect SL.

QUESTION 2:

If I apply trade controller to all the trades with SL (ag. all orders SL= 1000 pts) and I open another graph and apply also trade controller on this graph on a specific order ticket (eg. ticket = 123, in this case SL = 6000 pts),

Which of the two rules will become true on the specific ticket 123?

Will it close the deal at SL = 1000 or SL = 6000?

Hi,

1. Yes, you can filter to exclude the orders with ticket. Just choose "Order ticket..." option and put ! before the order ticket. For example: !12345; !56789;

2. The Trade Controller works based on "first come, first serve" basis, in which it will apply condition that come first. In your example: It will apply the SL = 1000 because the SL = 1000 will be hit before SL = 6000.

I do not trade the forex but the indices and especially the dj and the sp500. I want to close 50% to 50 points of gains, 30% to 100 points of gains and 20% to 300 points of gains. I trade from VanatgeFx. Concerning the dj I indicated 50% to 5000 pts, 30% to 10000 pts and 20% to 30000 pts. On a DJ short position open at 22062.50, with the configuration described above, the position was closed as follows: 50% to 22049, 30% to 22024.5 and 20% to 22021. I do not understand these fences which do not correspond to my configuration or I have not configured properly.

Hello,

1. "Aggressive mode" will trail the SL from the beginning even when the trailed SL has not yet passed the breakeven. Without "Aggressive" mode, the trailed SL will only moved after it passed the breakeven.

2. If you want to set partial close with different settings for different symbols. You should run the EA at separate chart of each symbol, set different settings for them and tick to "Only apply on XXX" symbol.

Bonjour,

1. Le «mode agressif» suivra le SL depuis le début même lorsque le SL traîné n'a pas encore dépassé le seuil de rentabilité. Sans mode "Agressif", le SL traîné ne bougera qu'après avoir atteint le seuil de rentabilité.

2. Si vous souhaitez définir une fermeture partielle avec différents paramètres pour différents symboles. Vous devez exécuter l'EA sur un graphique séparé de chaque symbole, définir les paramètres différents pour eux et cocher le symbole "Appliquer uniquement sur XXX".

Thank you Kevin for these answers. Today the positions are closed as I indicated in! EA. I think the confusion came from the fact that I changed the settings without disabling the EA. So this morning I uninstalled and reinstalled them with the final settings and it worked perfectly.
