How will it work with other EA? especially those already have Trialing stop, partial closing or break even ones?

If I put trade controller in one chart, will it manage all orders, or just manage the pair opened in the chart?

Thanks a lot. But I still need to figure out how first come first serve works.

For example, I have an EA (A), which has trailing stop and breakeven set. And I turned on both Trade controller and EA (A). Now, EA (A) opened an order with SL & TP. The price direction went as I expect. I start to make money from the order. With breakeven setting, EA(A) set SL price to 20 pips after 60 pips profit achieved. And then the price moved on. Trailing stop start to work when 150 pips profit reached, and SL price is moved to 80 pips ahead of original order price. And the trailing stop setting constantly move SL price by 5 pips step with the setting.

I am wondering how Trade controller will work with this EA. I like the trailing stop and partial close option from Trade controller, which will be very helpful, as my EA dont have trailing stop based on moving average, Zigzag, AVR, etc. And partial closing will help me to lock my profit. I just dont know how it will work with my current EA setting. Will SL price be override by trader controller, or my EA and trader controller override each others SL constantly?

Another question: my account is following a signal. How to make sure Trader controller leave signal trade alone, and dont touch it?

Hi,

"First come first serve" means which condition is met first will be process first. For example: your EA set trailing stop with distance 100 points while Trade Controller set trailing stop with distance 50 points. Then, the price goes forward and reach 50 points first, so it will follow the trailing stop rule of Trade Controller.

You can filter-out the signal trades by its comment. The comment of signal trades is usually its signal name.

I tried this EA, and it is quite well designed. I also got some other questions about this trailing stop:

1. When I use SAR, Zigzag, moving average or ATR for trailing stop one order, will EA change SL price constantly (which means I can see the price changing in SL colunm), or will EA calculated in background and close the order when criteria fulfilled (Which means I will not see price change in SL colunm and order will be closed directly)?

2. When I use SAR, Zigzag, MA or ATR, do I need to insert the indication in chart?

1. It will change the SL actually.

2. You don't need to insert related indicator into the chart.

3. Trailing mark is the footprint of the indicator that you use for trailing stop.

Hi.  I love this program except for the continuing problem that I mentioned in posts #28 and #31.  The second close almost never closes correctly.  It will only close .01 lots regardless of the % volume that I have set.  Can't this be made to work correctly?  The first and third closes are performing perfectly well.  Thank you.

When using the "Protect" feature, what should happen with the following settings?  Should the trade make 10 pts, or lose 10 pts?

Example:  If the order makes profit from "100" pts.

                ->then move stoploss to "10" pts from entry.

I'm trying to determine which side of the entry the "10" pts. is placed.

It's difficult to say which trailing stop is the best, because each trailing stop method has its own pros and cons. Which works best depends on your strategy and trading style.

Aggressive mode trails the stop from the beginning, it doesn't wait for the stop passing the breakeven. If this mode is not activated, it will only trail the stop when the stop pass the breakeven.

Another big windows 10 update has deactivated my purchased copy of Trade Controller.  I think the update may have been called the "Fall Update".  I still have three activations of Trade Controller remaining, yet am currently unable to reactivate it.  I think I'm using the most recent build of MT4:  build 1090, so not sure what to try next.  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I am running Trade Controller on a VPN with trailing stop using PSAR in aggressive mode on the 15 minute time frame. It is showing the trailing mark on the chart but it has not changed the SL value on the trade. Any thoughts as to why this may be happening?
