I cannot reveal all the secrets of the calculations used by the indicator. And, it is impossible to describe it in two words because, from version to version, the calculation strategies change together with the changes in the market. It is impossible to create a strategy, which works anyway, and at all times. That's why many of the well-known strategies that worked years ago don't work now. However, since I am both a trader and a programmer, I am constantly following the market and making adjustments to my products, which allows them to remain relevant in new market conditions. To say it simply, an indicator has a task to find anchor levels which can be considered as strong in a current market situation and to make calculations with volatility and other conditions considered.

This also has its disadvantage (as with all good things), and sometimes we can see that the indicator calculates the levels and the price goes further because we cannot know in advance how the price will behave near a level, and it can go further than that. By the way, one of the functions of the HTF Impulse Filter (in the new version of the indicator) is just to help solve this problem - let the profits grow:

Please a little more patience, and you will see all the new features in the new version of the indicator by yourself.

About the work with Excel file - I didn't plan to complicate the work of the indicator in this way. Perhaps in the future it will be implemented in some way, but so far, it is not in the plans.

A lot of work has been done, which will not require any additional payments from you, do not worry. In general, I expect a very interesting update, which I hope you will like. I hope to do it this week – I, myself, am really looking forward to it. Please be patient a little longer.

Third. The current version of the indicator is not worse than the new one – it is fully functional and profitable, if you follow my instructions and study many articles written on trading with the indicator. The new version adds new features and additional conveniences that will help in daily trading. But the current version shows itself well as well. All the work has already been done, there are still some checks to be made. If I'm not sharing it yet, it means only one thing – I'm not pleased with some things myself yet, and I want to make everything perfect. As a result, this is needed to make it easier for you to use the new features and not require numerous additional explanations of how and what to do. I've already received many messages that I don't need that perfectionism, and I've already agreed to that. Maybe in a future development or version, I will make some kind of beta versions, so that you can evaluate the basic principle of how it works and then already make further enhancements. But actually right now, after such a powerful update making further features will be much faster and easier, so betas might not be necessary. Let me tell you a secret, in parallel with the new version of the indicator I am developing something like a trading assistant for the Scalper Inside PRO indicator (as it is done in my other indicator AOTI). Much, in the process of trading, is still done manually, as I prefer to control everything myself. But I am now step by step starting to use it in my tests, and I want to make it as independent of human-trader as possible to make it more convenient to use. Why is the position closed here, and why didn't I expect the price to reach the TP3 level? To answer such questions that arise in the process of trading, I recommend looking at the higher timeframes.

The price fixation under the level. The probability that the price will bounce from the level is very high. It is better to close the position.

What can I say? Very premature profit taking. I broke the main rule and did not let the profits grow. Yes, not everything works out perfectly, and we all make mistakes.

We look at the higher timeframe, and oh yes - we see the target, where the price was aiming much higher than ours. We, at the very least, should have taken the TP3 level.

And here's another variant of the logic of why you can take a profit on an open position:

Often outside of major trading sessions (European, New York sessions) I take profits at TP2 or even TP1. Why? Because Scalper Inside PRO is a trending indicator, please do not forget about it when trading. You can use it to trade both on a flat market and on a trending market, but its maximum target is to take more on a trending market. So if we are out of active trading sessions or in a flat market, watch the price behavior near levels and take profits earlier. There is nothing wrong with that. Our main task is not to get into the Guinness Book of Records like the traders who only took TP3 targets :-)

Hello, my friends. I finally succeeded to release the indicator on August 14.

In the coming days, I think there will be a few more versions with improvements. For example, I want to add the ability to save optimizations not only for each individual currency pair or instrument, but also for each timeframe of these instruments. Optimization works only for strategy 1 so far. As for strategy 2, now I'm making additional improvements in it, which will make it more perfect. I don't know yet if it will succeed to make it optimizable – we will see a little later. Do not switch timeframe during optimization!

Thank you all for your anticipation and patience, I'm literally “falling off my feet” from the work I've done, but I'm happy I did it. More interesting things to come. Some later, there will also be a detailed description of how to use the new version of the indicator, as well as how to use the presets to integrate the indicator with external EA's.
