So this weekend marks my 1-yr anniversary of using SAAD TT!  I thought I would share my statistics to help any newbies out there get a feeling for how this performs.

Overall, it is a remarkable EA and I highly recommend it - kudos to Adnan creating it.  However, because of it's Martingale-like recovery, you will need a large balance to ensure you do not get stuck in times of difficulty.  I'm currently using £2,851.22 per point for all 5 pairs.  I started with the previously recommended £1000 total - so see how 52 weeks' of performance have changed that!  Who knows what the balance recommendation will be 52 weeks from now?  Make sure you have some spare cash ready to pump in, just in case - and don't be too greedy initially - we're still really testing what this EA can do.

My current DD is 48% - one of the highest its ever been.  I therefore expect I'll be revising the recommended balance in the coming weeks.  However, the average DD over the year has been 17.44%.

My average weekly gain is 368.13 pips.  The largest one-week return was 1,789 pips, with the lowest one-week return being just 70 pips

The most profitable pair over the year has been EUR/USD, producing 7,079.20 pips.  The worst performing pair has been AUD/JPY, producing 1,876.50 pips, however this has been the most efficient pair (profit / max. DD)!

My only concern at the moment is concentration risk - 3 of the 5 pairs are reliant on USD.  As we have seen since January, when the dollar rises it can have a big effect on our DD. 

Other than that I'm remaining invested and looking forward to Adnan's next release.

Who else is still using this EA regularly?

I always use this EA, it's the only one that actually works after all.

I'm going to restart trading the SAAD TRENDTRACKER for 3 months to see if it successful. 

I will try and keep this up to date on a weekly basis with results.

Can someone let me know what the best EA settings are ?! 

I'm starting with a balance of 1000 USD

Glad you're giving it another go - I was able to cover the cost of the purchase price after 3 months' of trading on the trial version, so I hope you can too.

The best settings are the one Adnan posted on page 46, post number 903.

I would caution your use of only $1,000 however (if you intend on using the same 5 pairs as Adnan suggests).  If I had kept only to that balance setting, I would have lost all money by now.  I recommend $2,851 for 5 pairs at the moment (and I expect to increase that soon-ish).  I know Henry De Jongh (who uses a slightly different balance calculation) would suggest a balance in the lower $2,000 mark too.

Hey Adnan - hows the new build coming on?

Looking at your Stats this morning - 2.93% DD is very impressive.  I'm over 50% at the moment using the latest EA release.  Have you been doing any manual intervention trades over these past few months?

Third week completed. Aug. 13th to Aug. 17th

You will probably need longer than a month to really get the most out of it (edit: sorry I see you said 3 months). But if you really do plan on stopping again soon, please consider enabling graceful stop and letting the bot clear the account's trades instead of manually closing them.

I activated Gracefull stop on all my trades … lets hope that September is the months that cleares all my trades :)

Adnan I just wanted to say that I am impressed. I am using the new dynamic trailing feature and this trade is incredible:

Considering that it's just 0.01 lots, it has been open for a long time, it's like, what I usually get as draw-down, turned into profit!

On the other hand, what possible dangers can you be activating Dynamic Trailing?

I simply use Adnan's official preset for it, "SaadTT_with_Dynamic_Trailing.set".

There are no dangers, just potentially more profit, have a look through the forums, we designed this feature as a community. :)
