HI Vasiliy, 


For some reason I cant apply the indicator to my chart anymore. I get the same message than above: Custom indicator MetaCOT2_CIT_Absolute_Changes EURUSD,H1: removed. Everthing was working fine so far. So I installed a new MT4 and downloaded your latest build (btw There is a problem with the underscore of the image files). Anyway Can you please get to me ASAP how to solve the problem thx

 METACOT 2.51 AVAILABLE 

 In this version of the program has many improvements and additional features. This post will talk about these features:


  • Starting from this version, a new utility for downloading reports is available - MetaCOT Data Provider. This utility work as Win32 system tray application and download CFTC reports in background mode. If you use this utility you can make auto update reports from MetaCOT indicators and don't use 'MetaCOT Install CFTC Reports';
  • 'MetaCOT CFTC Install Reports' tool was upgraded. Now, it contains the new help system. Its general window also was changed. Now, this window contains information about the status of the connection, a status of the database (outdated or not) and status of MetaCOT Data Provider Win32 until (install or not). If this util available 'MetaCOT CFTC Install Reports'        load local files and parse it.
  • MetaCOT indicators and Toolbox Library began to contain inner COT data for the most basic symbols. This data can use if MetaCOT wasn't installed. This option is useful in the strategy tester if the installation was not performed. 
  • All indicators began to contain the system of update data (mini tool based on 'MetaCOT CFTC Install Reports'). If you use MetaCOT Data Provider utility, you can update reports automatically and don't use 'MetaCOT Install CFTC Reports'. For this case, you need switch on new parameter 'AutoUpdate' in position true.
  • Added parameter 'Not Show Continues Data'. If this flag is enabled - last unknowing values are empty. Otherwise last unknowing values continue.
  • Added control for bad combination parameter. If you select nonreportable group of trades and also select Data Type as 'Number of Traders' you will see the message 'Incorrect combination of parameters'.
  • Removed parameter 'Data Type' for Largest COT indicators group. This parameter not effect for largest traders. 
  • Fixed a bug in strategy tester. When any indicators were started in strategy tester it's valued was intermittent.
  • Fixed a bug that caused an error 'invalid pointer access' in some cases  
  • Now all MetaCOT indicators and ToolBox Library contain additional GUI forms and MessageBox for more user friendly. The work of indicators has become clearer.

How to get to know what COT report used on particular chart? For example i use broker with special symbols - EURO instead EURUSD, if program wrongly detect symbol, how to change it in settings?

Has anyone out there successfully installed/configured these indicators?  I've been trying for four days without success.  When the indicators are attached to a chart, they aren't displaying live data.  I have tried both steps on the blog installation instructions but this has not fixed the problem.  My broker uses non standard report names, but I have changed these on the indicator settings and adjusted the "autodetect" to false and still no joy.  The COT Report Install Tool is working and updating correctly, but data is not displaying on the charts correctly.  If anyone's had this problem before and found away around it, it'd be great to hear how you managed it

I have followed the instructions you sent, but the indicators still aren't loading.  Can you tell me when you're available on Teamviewer as I'd like to get these up and running

Отличные индикаторы! Стоят каждого доллара)

В качестве пожеланий - после обновления данных(советником) автоматом не отображаются новые значения индикаторов. т.е. я перехожу по профилям и приходится на каждом графике прищелкивать таймфрейм D1-W1, чтобы данные индикаторов обновились.

Это не критично, но неудобно и бывает по невнимательности анализируешь устаревшие значения.

Василий, после перезагрузки очередного обновления Windows, индикатор перестал работать. Я перезагрузил новый МТ4, переустановил индикатор и у меня вычислялась активизация, хотя в условиях было написано что переустановка на одном и том же PC, не будет вычислять активизацию. Что делать?

Если обновление глобальное, то после него система активаций воспринимает компьютер как новый и требует новую активацию. По всей видимости произошел именно этой случай. К сожалению от меня это не зависит. Если Вы используете ToolBox, и количество активаций на него у Вас заканчивается, обратитесь ко мне в личку.

I just installed Metacot Library and also the toolbox which I purchased but when I drag to my GBPUSD.pro chart nothing happens.


Are there detailed instructions somewhere? I trade CFDs with Axibroker.
