Hello Perez

Read about the PZ Swing indicator in your website and had a couple of questions relative to the indicator.

On a daily chart, do the Arrows (Swings) and Colored dashes (Reversal swings) appear after the completion of the daily candle? (End of day) or is there a delay associated based on future price movements? (backpaint that is).

Does the Wolfe Waves indicator product from your site can be used in combination with this indicator for swing trading on daily charts or would they contradict each other?

Hi Goodtronix,

The indicator displays information at bar closing only. All signals are at bar closing.

The Wolfe Wave is a completely different indicator, I believe you will get no meaningful extra information if you mix them in a chart.

Then I realized that the signal arrow no repaint indeed, but will display after 2-3 bars forward. I think this is the right way to make that arrow confirmed. I agree with that.

So do you think that this Swing Trading Indicator will not use some bars forward to confirm?

Hi Martua. The mentioned indicator uses fractals. A fractal is defined as a formation of 5 bars being the middle one the highest/lowest of the formation. This the indicator must wait for the 5th bar to close before displaying the fractal formation, filtered by other price action simple calculations. This indicator has nothing to do with the swing trading indicator in which thread you are asking.

It will load on 30m and H1 charts. I don't know if the trading conditions will allow you to make a profit tho. For example in 30min charts, you are giving up around half ATR in transaction costs. So I would recommend to trade higher timeframes. Thanks.

I wanted to know what you mean by trading (Dash + Divergence) I believe its the dash that I don't understand!

The dash is a possible correction. A dash always precedes a trend change, but does not have necessarily to become one.

So, when a dash appears, it means the market is correcting, but there is no way to know how far it will correct.

To trade dashes, confirmations are needed. You can use macd, support and resistance, or any other thing you like.

Yesterday I've discovered your site and I was very impressed on your work.

I like to build for myself tools to enhance my trading but you are amazing.

I would like to ask you if you can make an insignificant adjustment to your MT4 PZ_SwingTrading tool.

Currently the histogram lines covers the candle bars. Can you please send them in background please?

Also, user cannot set the histo line width. If allowed, by setting line width to 5, user will have the sensation of a full cloud, such as in the Ichimoku cloud bellow:

My trading system implies Ichimoku cloud to filter down the BUY/SELL direction (I don't trade against the cloud).

It looks that your MT4 PZ_SwingTrading is able to signal earlier a potential change of trend, so I intend to use your "clouds" to filter up my signals.

For execution I use an EA that includes an user friendly Lot Size calculator, a filter of choice (currently are implemented the following filters: a Breaking Range OR a custom SMA slope filter OR Ichimoku Cloud.

User selects the amount on risk, sets the Entry level, SL level and TP level (by dragging on cht the corresponding lines), and press the execution button (it will be BUY OR SELL OR NoTrade according to the filter it uses).

I would like to use also your "clouds" as an option for filtration.

Please find attached the source of my EA is it looks interesting for you.

Alerts on all events provided they are enabled in inputs. On trend changes, swings and corrections.

Hi Devonish. The baseline must be smaller than the trendperiod value, always. I'd say half of it. That being said, I don't know which settings are best for any given symbol and timeframe, but the indicator displays stats to make that easier for you. Keep changing the period until you find settings that produce good stats and that you visually like.
