Hi there, I have had it running on a demo account for over a week and it hasn’t made a trade yet, other Algos on the same account have, can you help me work out what I have done wrong?  Regards Carl

First, dive into your MT5 logs: check the Experts and Journal tabs for any messages like "Outside Trading Hours" or "News Protection Active." That's often the culprit.

Default setup blocks trades outside 06:00-20:00 server time, so confirm your broker's server time and tweak TradingStartTime/TradingEndTime if needed (e.g., if you're in a different timezone, it might be off). Also, with EnableNewsProtection on (default true), it pauses 90 mins before and 45 after high-impact news—make sure you've allowed those WebRequests in Tools > Options > Expert Advisors: https://api.deepseek.com and http://ec.forexprostools.com. Without that, news filter might hang or block everything.

Hi, I have shared my input screen, I also checked your original DM & found that I had missed a website address, which I have now added.  Anything jump out at you in my settings or was it the missing website that caused the inactivity?
