Do you have an optimized set file for own backtesting?
Hello, are the defaukt settings already optimized for USDYPY H1?
Do you have an optimized set file for own backtesting?
Would you please explain the strategy behind this ea?

the settings are ready to go using default parameters. you can however play around with the inputs and see if you can get better results :)
...backtest results with default settings looks good...almost too good to be true???
Would you please explain the strategy behind this ea?
this system utilizes around 200 strategies using native mql5 indicators and utilizes WFO optimization to filter profitable and less profitable strategies prioritizing use of the most profitable strategies for entry over the ones less profitable. I will check the systems for unprofitable strategies monthly and replace them within the system to maintain profitability and ensure the WFO function has profitable strategies across the board to work with moving forward :)

Hello Michael, thank you for your quick response! I am sorry, but what do you mean with WFO optimization?
The Expert Advisor has a Walk-Forward Optimization (WFO) feature, which is basically a smart way of keeping track of which trading strategies are actually making money right now, instead of just relying on old backtest data. It constantly watches all the strategies you're using and checks how they’re performing in live or forward testing. If a strategy is doing well, meaning it’s making solid profits with low risk, the EA starts prioritizing that strategy more. On the other hand, if another strategy is struggling and not making much profit—or even losing money—the EA will gradually phase it out and focus more on the better-performing ones.
This process keeps repeating, so your EA is always favoring the most profitable strategies and ditching the ones that aren’t working anymore. The great thing about this is that it allows your trading system to adapt to the market instead of getting stuck with outdated strategies. It also helps you avoid over-optimization, where something looks perfect in backtests but flops in real trading. Instead of you having to manually scan everything and figure out what’s working, your EA does it for you, making sure you’re always trading with the best setups at any given time.

Hello Michael, thank you again for the information. The backtest results are really good. If I understand it correctly, then the EA would have to have regularly adjusted the strategies it used even during a backtest run?!

Here is my longterm backtest result from 01/2013 up to 2025 with the default setting on USDJPY H1, tickdata, every tick. From 2013 to 2020 (over a period of 7 years!) the balancecurve runs allways sideways. From 2020 up to now the EA made all his profits. Why made the EA nearly no profit from 2013 to 2020?
Hello Michael, thank you for your EA. Do you recommend using a Raw Spread account, or is the use of a standard account with a normal spread already factored into the TP and SL?
Hello, first of all congratulations for the great work with this EA. My question is the following: Should the WFO function be activated in the configuration parameters? Because by default it is disabled.
Good question.
Good question.
Thanks Cristian, although it seems that for the developer it is not so much.
Btw backtest is perfect.
For some reason it doesn't open any trades for me. Any idea? Maybe the balance is too low?
Btw backtest is perfect.
The same thing happens to me. This robot opens very rare operations and when it does it is in a massive way, as it did in my account last week, it only opened quite a few at the same time in one day and by the way they all resulted in losses. I believe that in live its behavior has nothing to do with the backtest from what I have been able to observe. I still have it in quarantine, testing, but it has not done anything at all for several days now. We'll see...
Hello, it's the same. He don't take any trade.
hy made the EA nearly no pr
the same, from 2010 to 2020 no profit or money loss; since 2020 pure heaven :)
Does the stop loss order not occur?
It is the same in both backtest and real account.
Need some help here. Occasionally the EA loads a trade with no SL or no Tp Or both. Is this intentional or an error?
