Hi dear Rene,

I checked the both versions again and they were acting like each other. Maybe your settings are different. I think you used the set files I have provided in your earlier backtest, but you didn't use them for the new version, so the results are different.

My question is about the lot size selection. if we put 1% for Risk Percent on a $1000 balance..what would be the open lot size? or there is no automatic lot selection?

how this EA will set automatic lot based on balance...please advise.

Let me explain by the example you provided:

1% of $1000 is $10
So if your Stop Loss is 200 points and the calculated Lot size is 0.02, when it reach the SL, you will lose $10
but if your Stop Loss is 100 points, the calculated size will be 0.04, and again when it reach the SL, you will lose $10

How do you define the lot size if the balance is $1000 and the risk is %2 (I saw it  and was 0.04).I want to understand your logic for that.

Hi, sorry for the delay. I was on a trip.

As I mentioned, the EA will evaluate the lot size starting from 0.01. If the stop-loss (SL) value is lower than $20 (which represents 2% of your account balance), it will increase the lot size in increments of 0.01 until it reaches 0.05. However, if increasing the lot size to 0.05 pushes the SL value above $20, the EA will choose the last lot size that kept the SL below $20, which in this case is 0.04.
