I just purchased your EA, I already own the US30 one, I am trying to back test the DAX EA and struggle to get successful results.  I am thinking that my time on inputs is wrong.  I use Hankotrade for my broker and am struggling to get the time right in the input file. What would be time?

Server Time Zone : GMT+2 during winter and GMT+3 during summer.

Updating my post:  I have two brokers:

HankoTrade: Server Time Zone : GMT+2 during winter

If your broker is currently on the GMT+2 timezone then the "DAX_opening_hour_based_on_broker_time" should be set to 10 at the moment and for the broker that uses GMT+0 it should be set to 8.

In the current market conditions the New ReversalMode set file is performing the best so that's the one I'd recommend using right now. But the other strategies that the other set files rely on could make a comeback so I'll still include them.

I Just Bought DAX morning Scalp,
I'm in Spain, and here Dax Opens at 9AM (Central European Time) UTC/GMT +1 hour)

In case of NY it opens at my 3:30PM

SO in DAX oppening Hour I should place 9
Since this expert works I will also Buy the US30, so to the same case of US30 I should place 15hour

The other question is, should I leave AutoDetect DAX Oppening hour (FALSE), or I can change to true??

First of all, thank you for the purchase!

You need to look at your broker's server time on the MT5 platform and determine when the markets open based on that time. So for example the DAX opens at 10am server time for most of the brokers I use. So you need to use the opening hour of the DAX for your specific broker in the input and if you're using the 2024 set file then you need to add 1 hour to the opening hour of your broker, so for example in my case I would type 11 in the input as the DAX opens at 10 for my broker.

For the US30 EA you just need to do the same, figure out when the US markets open for your specific broker's time, so for me that's 16:30 so I would type 16 in the 'opening hour' input.
