One of the best features of this Indicator is Dynamic level calculation of Over-Sold and Over-Bought areas in CCI.

You can not find this feature any where as this is unique and innovative method to use both maths and statistic science.

As you know, in most Indicators such as CCI the trader use a static level of 0, +100 and -100.

Have you ever found that in such market conditions other levels like +150 or -140 is more close to reality?

Have you ever seen that levels of +130 and -135 are more match with Gold H1 or +150 and -165 are more match with GBP/USD?

This is an Indicator with particular specification that uses maths and statistics science to dynamically calculate the levels.

Instruction to use Intelligent_CCI in Strategy tester:

If you are Day trader, set the CCI_Period=14 because you need to have exit signal in same day you have opened the position.

If you are Swing trader, you need to set the CCI_Period according to Wave time cycle period.

You need to find Wave time cycle period to have best CCI_Period. To obtain the period value you should count the half of candles between the two sequence bottoms or two sequence tops .This value may change weekly or monthly or could be valid for one year or more in each pairs. This period changes because of changes in market behavior.

You can begin with CCI_Period equal to 50 for GBP/USD or H1 CCI_Period equal to 30 for XAU/USD in H1 time frame. For EUR/USD in most of times CCI_Period is 50 but it changes more frequently than GBP/USD.

And the last important point is, Dynamic over-bought and over-sold level the wizard of this indicator.

To have proper calculation for these levels, lets indicator to be run until you make sure that there are 2000 candles in your chart. As you know and described in Indicator, the minimum required bars to have acceptable calculation for Over-Bought and Over-Sold levels is 2000.

Everybody who are interested to test the Indicator (Download the Demo version),

You need to place a copy of Indicator in MQL4\Indicator.

The downloaded Indicator will be placed in MQL4\Indicator\Market.

So you need to keep another copy in directory of MQL4\Indicator.

To do this follow this steps:

1- In Metatrader terminal, File -> Open Data Folder

2- In Opened window, go to MQL4\Indicator\Market

3- find "Intelligent CCI.ex4" file and right click on it.

4- Choose the Copy

5- Go back to the directory of MQL4\Indicator

6- Paste the "Intelligent CCI.ex4" file here.

7- Rename the "Intelligent CCI.ex4" to "Intelligent_CCI.ex4"

8- Finish. You can go to strategy tester and test the indicator in "Safe Mode Signalling".

In new update version 1.1, you don't need to copy another copy to indicator directory or rename indicator name.

The indicator work well with any name in any directory.

For Swing trading this is a sample setting for EURUSD.

The chart of last week shows that you would able to gain +164 pips.

For better result, minimum bars in chart should exceed 10000.

Please see the chart for more details and sample setting of indicator.

In case to set "Boundary" = "Over_Smoothed_CCI" instead of  "Over_Original_CCI"

you would not receive that just one wrong signal and you would able to gain +274 pips.

For Scalp on M5,

You have better to set the CCI Period to 14 and trade between 18:00 to 4:00 GMT and only take the position by signal of "Leaving Over-Bought area" and "Leaving Over-Sold area".

Please check attached file.

Lets do it by a visual sample one on a major security on H1 time frame. I guess GBPUSD is a good choice here.

In attached chart, you can see IntelligentCCI which it is Orange color is smoothed enough in comparison with CCI which it is Black.

Hi

I recommend to use period=14 for 5 min chart. You just need to be sure that to set SafeMode=TrendOriented because of safety to receive the signals according to highest time frame trend.
