New version 2.3. Recommended to update.
What's new:
1) The range for selecting the best strategies on untrained periods has been expanded from 2009 to 2023 (previously from 2015), which has had a positive effect on forward testing.
2) Parameters for margin control have been made visible (they were hidden in the previous version):
- MarginControl=true;
- MarginCriticalLevel = 100;
- RestoreMarginLevel = 120;
It is recommended to keep this enabled.
(You can disable it at your own risk if you do not want the EA to control the margin level and forcibly close positions when MarginCriticalLevel is reached.)

There was strong news today, and prior to that, some fluctuations. With the news filter enabled, the system handled the event easily and ended up in profit overall. The news filter cannot be tested in the strategy tester, so I am testing it live. Today was a good test of its operation. I have also decided to set Risk = 5000 (instead 500) and Auto-restart = 0.1%.

A test was also launched on another broker on a demo account with a deposit of 5000 and Risk=500, which is high risk. That account has a news filter enabled, triggering 5 minutes before high-impact news and resuming trading 30 minutes after. On this account, the spread is small (0–1) and the commission is 5. But notably, with another broker there is a one-hour shift, meaning the H4 bars will be slightly different, and therefore the results will differ somewhat between them. However, the direction matched for both — today the EAs traded sell.
Configuration: default settings + Risk=500, NewsFilter=true.
