Trading Rules

  • Buy Signal (Rebound Up): Wait for the price to drop below the lower grey band. When a bullish candle closes back inside the band, a Green Arrow appears. Go Long.

  • Sell Signal (Rebound Down): Wait for the price to spike above the upper grey band. When a bearish candle closes back inside the band, a Red Arrow appears. Go Short.

  • Pro Tip: For the highest win rate, ensure your Stop Loss is placed just beyond the recent swing high/low that pierced the band.

Input Parameters

  • Centered TMA half period: Adjusts the smoothness and lag of the baseline trend. (Default: 12)

  • Price to use: Choose the data point for calculations (Default: Weighted Price).

  • Average true range period: The lookback period for calculating market volatility. (Default: 100)

  • Average true range multiplier: Adjusts the width of the channel. Higher numbers mean fewer, but higher-probability signals. (Default: 2.0)
