You've been burned before. That's why you're reading this.

You bought an EA with a perfect backtest. It collapsed in two weeks live. You tried another one — same story. Maybe you've done this five times already. You're not stupid. You were just shopping in a market full of smoke.

Most "AI-powered" bots on MQL5 are a martingale with a ChatGPT logo slapped on top. Perfect equity curves that only exist inside the strategy tester. That's not trading. That's marketing.

I'm Diego, and I build the opposite of that.

WHO I AM

I design Expert Advisors and AI-driven trading systems at DoIt Trading. My focus: strategies that survive the market, survive drawdowns, and survive YOU — because most EAs don't die from bad logic. They die because the trader panics and pulls the plug.

Everything I sell runs on my own money first. No exceptions.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

TRADING PHILOSOPHY

Portfolio over single EA. One bot is not a trading plan — it's a psychological trap disguised as a strategy. Multiple strategies supporting each other is how you actually stay in the game.

Controlled risk, not zero risk. Every system has losing periods. The difference is whether drawdown is managed with clear stop-losses and defined limits, or whether it's a grid praying for a reversal.

Recovery is more dangerous than drawdown. The urge to "get back to break-even" destroys more accounts than the drawdown itself. My systems are built knowing that.

Proof over promises. I don't post screenshots — I post verified accounts:

BROKERS I USE WITH REAL MONEY

Don't run your EA on a random broker. These are the ones I trust with my own capital:

IC Markets — Raw spreads, institutional execution

Pepperstone — Solid regulation, global coverage

PROP FIRMS / FUNDED PROGRAMS

Axi Select — Scale capital without paying challenge fees. You trade, they add capital. The only funded program where the business model isn't "collect fees from failing traders"

Most people do not really want to “live off trading”.

They want out.

Out of the job.
Out of the schedule.
Out of asking permission.
Out of feeling that their income depends on someone else.

And I get it.

But this is exactly where trading marketing becomes dangerous.

Because the fantasy is easy to sell:

trade from anywhere, make money every month, quit your job, live free.

The reality is much less sexy.

To live only from trading, you need serious capital, emotional stability, risk control, bad-month protection and usually other income sources around it.

Otherwise every red month becomes personal.

Every drawdown feels like rent money.

Every trade carries too much emotional weight.

And that is how people start doing stupid things.

They increase risk.
They close too early.
They switch systems.
They chase funded accounts like lottery tickets.
They buy another EA hoping this one finally removes the pressure.

That is not freedom.

That is just another prison with candles on the screen.

I think the better path is slower, but much more realistic:

build skill, build structure, use automation where it actually helps, diversify, and scale only when your head can handle the numbers.

That is also why I like Axi Select more than the classic challenge-casino model.

You start with your own capital.
You build track record.
You scale gradually.
You are not trying to pass a challenge in panic mode just to feel like a “funded trader”.

I made a full video about the uncomfortable truth nobody sells you:

**Can You Live Off Trading? The Truth Nobody Sells You**

And if you want to see how I approach trading automation, portfolios and scaling:

Trading can be a powerful extra pillar.

But if your plan is “I need this month to pay my life”, you are already putting your head in the worst possible place.

The honest post about why you really want to trade — and why the answer changes what you should buy. You've seen the screenshots: "Made eleven grand this week," the car, the "I quit my job at twenty-four." And a quiet voice does the math: if I just learn to trade, I'm free...
Diego Arribas Lopez

I think a lot of traders are stuck in a weird place.

They do not fully trust manual trading anymore.

But they also do not fully trust automation.

So they stay in the middle.

They watch.
They compare.
They ask.
They wait.

And every few weeks they buy something random because the backtest looked good or because the seller made it sound safe.

That is probably the worst place to be.

Not manual enough to build real skill.

Not systematic enough to build real structure.

Just floating between doubt, hope and another EA purchase.

I do not think the solution is to buy more robots.

I think the solution is to decide what you are actually trying to build.

A portfolio.

An AI-driven decision layer.

A gold specialist.

A funded/scaling path.

Something clear.

Something you can test.

Something you can actually leave running without touching every time the account breathes wrong.

That is the whole point of DoItTrading.

Not magic.

Not “guaranteed profits”.

Not another perfect backtest fantasy.

Just tools built around the idea that most traders do not need more noise.

They need structure.

Every trader wants the payout. Almost nobody does the three steps that come before it. The $3,541.35 payout in the screenshot below isn't the result of a perfect entry on April 26. It's the result of a year of compounding decisions made before any of those April trades existed...

Claude Fable 5 is exactly why I built Alpha Pulse AI.

This is huge news.

Not because one new model magically solves trading.

It does not.

But because every serious AI release makes one thing more obvious:

the future of automated trading is not another fixed-rule EA pretending to be intelligent.

It is not a perfect backtest.

It is not a “100% win rate” screenshot.

It is not some old martingale logic with the word AI slapped on top.

The future is a real AI decision layer.

A model that can read market context.
Compare scenarios.
Filter bad conditions.
Understand volatility.
Avoid stupid entries.
Manage decisions with more context than a rigid robot ever could.

That is the direction.

And that is exactly what DoIt Alpha Pulse AI is built around.

MT4/MT5 send real market information to the AI.
The AI analyses the situation.
The EA executes only inside predefined risk rules and guardrails.

That is the difference.

The AI does not replace risk management.

It does not remove bad phases.

It does not print money.

But it changes the game from:

“if this indicator crosses, buy”

to:

“does this market actually deserve a trade right now?”

That shift is massive.

And I am working on something big around this.

I will not overhype it yet.

But if you understand where AI is going, you should understand why I am building here.

Not fake AI.

Not marketing AI.

Not backtest AI.

Real model-based trading decisions inside MetaTrader.

You bought the EA. You wired it to MT5. You watched it open the first trade, felt the dopamine hit, then watched the account drain over the next six weeks. You didn't get unlucky. You hit one of five common AI EA mistakes — and the vendors who sold you the EA were happy to let you...
Diego Arribas Lopez
Diego Arribas Lopez
Stop collecting EAs. Pick a real direction.

If you keep buying random robots, you are not building a trading system.

You are just shopping.

One EA because the backtest looked good.
One EA because the win rate looked high.
One EA because somebody said “AI”.
One EA because you were bored, angry, desperate or greedy.

That is not strategy.

That is emotional spending.

So here is the simple version.

If you want one magic bot that wins every week, do not buy from me.

If you want guaranteed profit, do not buy from me.

If you want to run stupid lot sizes and blame the EA later, definitely do not buy from me.

But if you actually want to build something with structure, choose the tool that matches the problem.

Stop trying to find “the best EA”.

That question is lazy.

The real question is:

What are you trying to build?

A portfolio?
An AI layer?
Gold exposure?
A GBP specialist?
A scalable structure?

Pick a direction.

Test properly.

Use realistic risk.

And stop treating the Market like a slot machine with candles.
Diego Arribas Lopez
Most retail EA portfolios fail in the pair selection phase, before a single trade is placed. A trader picks up three EAs over six months — one EURUSD scalper, one EURGBP grid bot, and a "multi-pair AI" EA that trades whatever the model feels like. On paper it looks diversified...
Diego Arribas Lopez
Diego Arribas Lopez
**If you keep watching and never start, nothing changes.**

Some traders do this for months.

They read posts.
They watch videos.
They compare EAs.
They ask questions.
They wait for the “perfect moment”.

And then they do absolutely nothing.

That feels safe.

But it is not discipline.

It is avoidance.

Because at some point, you do not need another screenshot.
You do not need another opinion.
You do not need another perfect backtest.
You need a first step.

Small.
Controlled.
Tested.
Not stupid.

That is why I keep saying the same thing:

Do not start by gambling big.

Start by building structure.

If you already understand portfolio logic, look at MultiStrategy Pro.

If you want real AI involved in the trading decision process, look at Alpha Pulse AI.

If you want gold exposure and you understand that gold can hit hard, look at Gold Guardian.

If you want a premium GBP-focused recovery-style EA, look at GBP Master.

But stop pretending that endless research is progress.

At some point, the question is simple:

Are you building something, or are you just collecting trading content?

Diego Arribas Lopez
Stop asking “which EA is the best?”

That is the wrong question.

The right question is:

what problem are you actually trying to solve?

Because most traders buy like idiots.

They see a screenshot.
They see a curve.
They see a big number.
They buy.

Then the system has a normal bad phase and suddenly:

“It does not work.”
“I need another EA.”
“I need different settings.”
“I should switch strategy.”

No.

Maybe you bought the wrong tool for the wrong problem.

So let’s make it simple.

If you want a portfolio framework instead of depending on one fragile setup:

There is no “best EA” for everyone.

There is the right tool for the right trader, the right account size, the right risk tolerance and the right objective.

If you want guaranteed profit, do not buy anything from me.

If you want a magic bot that wins every week, do not buy anything from me.

If you want to gamble with oversized lots and blame the system later, definitely do not buy anything from me.

But if you are done buying random EAs like lottery tickets, start thinking properly:

AI.
Portfolio.
Gold exposure.
GBP specialist.
Different tools. Different jobs.

Stop buying hype.

Buy the tool that matches the problem you actually have.
Diego Arribas Lopez
Every EA vendor in 2026 says "AI-powered." Almost none of them tell you what the AI actually does . Does it call GPT-5.5 once a day to confirm a trade? Once a minute? Does it pass current price, session, volatility — or just a prompt and pray...
Diego Arribas Lopez
Diego Arribas Lopez
Most traders are not stuck because they need one more EA.

They are stuck because they keep buying random tools and calling it a strategy.

One bot.
One pair.
One hope.
Then one bad phase and they panic.

That is not a trading business.
That is shopping addiction with candles on the screen.

The truth is simple:

Manual trading is hard to scale.
One single EA is fragile.
And fully automated trading does not need a holy grail. It needs structure.

That is exactly why I built the DoItTrading path the way I did:

Start with the Free USDJPY Portfolio Module if you want a real first step without buying blind.

Move to DoIt MultiStrategy Pro if you want portfolio structure instead of one fragile setup.

Use DoIt Alpha Pulse AI if you want real AI-based market decision support inside your automation.

And if your goal is scaling capital without wasting money on challenge fees, study the Axi Select + MultiStrategy Pro setup path.

This is the part most traders do not want to hear:

You do not need more hype.
You need a system you can survive.

Start free.
Build structure.
Then scale.

Half the gold EA market in 2026 still sells backtest screenshots and asks you to trust the marketing. The other half — the half worth your attention — shows every trade live on Myfxbook from day one and lets you audit the record before you spend a dollar...
Diego Arribas Lopez
Diego Arribas Lopez
The expensive EA is not always the expensive mistake.

A lot of traders think they are being smart because they avoid buying a serious EA.

So they buy the cheap one.

Then another one.

Then another one.

Then another “AI bot”.

Then another perfect backtest.

And after five purchases, the account is damaged, the confidence is gone, and they still do not have a structure they can actually trust.

That is the real expensive mistake.

Not paying more once.

Paying again and again for garbage that only looked good in the tester.

Most traders do not need another miracle bot.

They need to stop buying based on dopamine.

Pretty curve.
High win rate.
Perfect backtest.
No real context.
No serious risk thinking.
No live behaviour.
No honesty about bad phases.

That is how you keep losing money while trying to “save money”.

DoItTrading is not built around that game.

Alpha Pulse AI is for traders who want a real AI decision layer inside MT4/MT5.

MultiStrategy Pro is for traders who understand that one fragile setup is not a trading plan.

Gold Guardian is for traders who want XAUUSD exposure and can handle the fact that gold can print hard and hit hard.

Different tools.

Different use cases.

Same idea:

stop chasing fantasy.

Build something you can actually survive.

You do not want to live from trading. You want to escape your job.

And that is exactly why most traders get trapped.

They think one good strategy will replace a salary.

It will not.

Manual trading is not really freedom either.
You just replace one job with another one, except now you are chained to the screen, you cannot scale properly, and your testing power is limited.

Then people move to automation and make the next mistake.

They start hunting the holy grail.

One EA.
One setup.
One system that wins every month, every week, every phase.

That does not exist.

If your real goal is to build something that can actually grow, the answer is not one strategy.

It is structure.

Portfolio first.
Then automation.
Then capital scaling.

That is the whole logic behind what I build:

Start with the free USDJPY portfolio module if you are still at the beginning.
Use MultiStrategy Pro if you want a more serious portfolio structure.
Use Alpha Pulse AI if you want a real AI decision layer inside MT4/MT5.
And if your goal is scaling, look at Axi Select, because it gives you a more serious path to larger capital without challenge fees.

The problem is not that trading cannot scale.

The problem is that most people try to scale chaos.

That is why they stay stuck.
