GoldPulseY — 3-in-1 Multi-Strategy XAUUSD Trading System
Three independent, purpose-built strategies trading Gold in parallel — each with its own on/off switch, its own daily loss cap, and its own dynamic ATR-based risk controls, plus session logic built around gold's own trading quirks.
GoldPulseY is not one signal repeated three times. It runs three genuinely different strategies side by side on XAUUSD, each with its own logic, its own magic number, and its own risk budget, so a bad day on one never touches the other two.
Strategy 1 — Multi-factor scoring. A 4-point score on M15, built from RSI momentum (position versus the 50 midline plus direction over the last two bars), ATR expansion confirmed by candle direction, H1 EMA trend alignment, and a quality gate that fires on support/resistance proximity or an RSI level. A Moderate (2 of 4) or Strict (3 of 4) threshold controls how selective it is. A separate support/resistance touch check can trigger entries directly.
Strategy 2 — Multi-timeframe trend confluence. Requires a fresh trend crossover: H4 and H1 must both turn aligned in the same direction, having not been aligned on the prior bar, and M15 momentum must confirm with three consecutive steps and a matching candle of meaningful size relative to ATR. Because it waits for the turn rather than trading an established trend, S2 is deliberately low-frequency — typically a handful of trades per week.
Strategy 3 — Session VWAP trend-pullback. A price-action approach built independently of S1 and S2, using no EMA, RSI, or MACD. It establishes direction from the session VWAP and its slope, then enters on pullbacks that reach within a fraction of ATR of the VWAP line and close back on the trend side — confirming the pullback held rather than reversed.
Each strategy can be enabled or disabled independently from the inputs.
Risk management
- Dynamic ATR-based SL/TP with trailing stop for every strategy. Stop and target distances adapt to current volatility instead of using a fixed dollar value.
- Hard dollar cap on stop-loss distance per strategy, so a sudden gap or volatility spike cannot push a single trade past a sane worst-case loss.
- Stop placement is decoupled from position size. Stop and target distances are always calculated at a fixed reference lot, so scaling the lot changes your exposure without quietly tightening your stops — a common failure mode in EAs that size dynamically.
- Independent daily loss limit per strategy, as a percentage of balance or a fixed dollar amount, your choice. A bad day on one strategy pauses only that strategy's new entries and closes only its own trades.
- Spread filter blocks new entries when spread widens beyond your threshold.
- Friday pre-weekend flatten — a two-stage close (profitable trades first, then everything remaining) ahead of the weekend gap, timed to XAUUSD's feed rather than a generic clock cutoff.
- Daily liquidity-gap handling — gold's feed goes quiet for roughly an hour every day. GoldPulseY detects this window, closes profitable trades and blocks new entries through it, then resumes automatically, with seasonal (DST) time adjustment.
- One open trade per strategy, so total automated exposure is bounded at three positions maximum.
Money management
Optional auto lot-sizing scales position size with account balance in steps, up to a maximum lot you configure. Or run fixed lot sizes per strategy if you prefer full manual control. Each strategy chooses independently.
Dashboard
A single on-chart dashboard shows live status for all three strategies: account balance, equity and drawdown, per-strategy daily and open P&L, win rates, and a signal readout for each strategy — S1's buy/sell scores with H4 and H1 trend, S2's confirmed legs and signal state, and S3's VWAP trend, signal and current ATR — plus session time and daily-loss protection status.
Optional detailed control panels for each strategy and a manual trading panel are included in the source and can be enabled if you want on-chart buttons and live parameter editing.
Requirements
- MetaTrader 5, built for XAUUSD (Gold) on M15. Every default parameter is calibrated to gold's price and volatility profile, and gold is the only symbol this EA is intended for. It is not symbol-locked — it will start on any instrument and logs a notice when the chart is not gold — but the defaults are meaningless elsewhere and should not be used as-is. Broker suffixes and prefixes (XAUUSD-ECN, XAUUSDm, and similar) are recognised automatically.
- M15 timeframe. The EA warns if attached to another period.
- Hedging-enabled account. The three strategies can each hold their own position on XAUUSD at the same time, so this EA needs an MT5 account in Hedging mode, not Netting.
- Recommended: a broker with tight, consistent XAUUSD spreads during your trading hours.
