Set files for the Universal Moving Average EA
The names show timeframe (H1 or M5), the symbol and buy or sell.
Some files show just a basic optimization, improved files may follow soon.
New set file for Universal_MA1.1
With the help of 5 new filters the test results below was made.
Order Mode = 4 = sell after a rising candle - see explanation in the blog >>
The new filters 53 - 57 may have good effect with other symbols or timeframes too.
More filters will follow.
New set file for EURUSD H1 for the Universal_MA

New set file for Universal_MA1.2
The new version 1.2 uses the Average True Range (ATR) Indicator.
The new setting AtrMin avoids opening trades when volatility is low.
In a new set file for USDJPY Buy in H1 chart the new setting gives a good effect, see the backtest result below.
The other set files will be actualized soon, using the ATR.
July and August worst months for trading
The picture below is from a mt5 backtest.
Like shown there many automatic trading system have problems in summer:
The losses are nearly as high as the profit.
In the summer, the big guys who normally move the market are on vacation.
So it will get better ;-)
New set files for Universal_MA1.4
With more filters the new set files show a better backtest result. Do your own backtesting!

The best performing strategies (setups) of all 3 accounts will be tradet on a real account starting in October.
Version 1.4 allows 3 digit numbers for the filters, so the old set files don't work with this version, unless you set a 0 before each nr. for filters.
For developing own set files don't forget setting always 3 digits for the filters and 2 digits for the other text settings.
Set files Universal_MA trades in account 2
To avoid that a currency or cfd pair trades two times in the same direction (buy/sell) on the same account,
the settings are distributed on 3 accounts. So it is easy to see which strategies perform best.
If a set file has a atr1 in its name filter 019 is set. It requires that the candle length excceed the value of the average true range indicator.
If a set file has a atr2 in its name filter 020 requires that the candle length excceed the double value of the average true range indicator.
With these 2 new basic settings will follow more setups (set files) in other pairs soon.

The name of the set file is shown in the upper left corner of the chart.
The name shows period and pair, so it is easy to check if the setting is on the correct chart.
