before buying any robot test it on the last 3 months

for the backtest change the spread to at least 13 Points(1.3 pips) , never use current spread

if the result was good

backtest it again for a complete year with minimum spread of 13 Points

 

if the result was still good and the drawdown was less than 40%,

May be u can trust it.

maybe. 

(remember to download tick data before backtesting)
