Hi,  Thanks for the indicator.

Just so as you know the download puts in the Expert Advisors "Market" folder and not the Indicators "Market" folder so you might want to look at that.

Not sure if that is the same for everyone else, I just moved it from one to the other myself and it works.

I'll figure out a way to fix it. But for now, please move the ex4 to Indicators/Market folder before using.

I deleted it. And re-installed again using MT4 market directly.

And it seems to install correctly now:

Not sure what the issue was. But first time I had tried installing from mql5 website market.

Hope mql5 team has fixed the issue at their end. Because an indicator installed as an Expert won't work.

Alerts don't show up as popups in strategy tester:

But they should show up in Journals tab for strategy tester. Or experts tab for live trading.

I think your screenshot is from the correct tab, but it's probably been scrolled all the way to start of test (bar 4587 signal).

Alerts will be there for latest shift bar.

Just keep seeDetailedJournalLogs to false. Because right now you will get too many debug logs.

With every signal it is skipping, so alert messages will get pushed back.

I ran an empty Expert advisor in strategy tester and added the indicator:

And here's one with using the indicator directly. Used your set file and only changed seeDetailedJournalLogs to false:

That will remove all extra debugs and will leave you with just the alerts.

But I must warn you, that strategy tester is not reliable with signals or alerts. As it moves price too fast. And because of over-optimization.

It's good while we are still working on indicator's overall functionality. But not always reliable for a complete strategy design :)

But please let me know if you see alert journal logs now.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I see that the alerts are working for you so there is clearly a problem at my end as I am still not seeing alerts. By way of illustration I attach a screenshot of a live chart marked with a red vertical line. This is when I loaded the indicator. Thereafter five signal arrows appeared on the chart but no alert messages were shown in the Experts tab, as can be confirmed from the timings  of the subsequent debug messages (terminal is two hours behind server time). Curiously, debug messages continued to appear despite the 'see detailed journal logs' and 'show debug text' toggles being set to 'false'. I attach the set file used. I also loaded the indicator on a blank EA in the strategy tester and again no alerts were shown. I have v1.1 of the indicator, which appears to be the latest so I am not sure why we are seeing different results. Thanks again for your attention.

Sure I'll check it out. I can see from your screenshots that your main chart is M5 and debug messages are from M1. 

I think the M1 chart probably has another instance of the indicator running. So it's still getting debug messages.

I'm seeing an Array Out of Range error right now with the set file. I'll see what's causing the issue. I'll let you know soon.

Yes, 1.1 is the latest. If I update it after fixing the bug, I'll let you know the new version.

Yes, you're right, M1 and M5 were both running on the same terminal. May I say I'm a big fan of your products and really look forward to using this one as part of a strategy, if possible.

Sometimes in fixing one thing another one might break. I'll fix the BUY alerts really soon and let you know.
