I'm trying to test your EA to simply trade cross over between two exponential moving averages.

It's not clear to me how is working the stop loss and the take profit. If I attach here the settings I tried, could you please explain me how the SL and TP work?

I thought the trade would have closed only when the two moving average cross again (first cross=open trade1, second cross=close trade1 and open trade 2)

I have now checked your preset file. If you would like it to work this way you will need to set the value in the 'Take profit method' parameter to 'Fixed' instead of 'Trailing stop'. I have also mentioned this in the product's blog.

Hi Michael and thanks for your interest in my EA :-)

All parameters are described in the product's blog. Please see the screenshot below. It means that it will open a trade already before the candle has closed. It is a little more risky but on the other hand you will be able to catch the move earlier.

My point is, that I don’t find the possibility in my variables to change the parameter for this Variable because in my variable list this variable doesn’t exist - please see attachement!

Where can I find this Variable "Wait for candle close"?

It is true that this input parameter is not avaiable. I have put it by mistake in the blog. I have now removed it from there.

first of all thanks for this EA, I like it.
With a little trial I found good settings.
My question is, it is possible to set up an ATR trailing stop with a multiplier?
I think that would make things a lot easier.
Another EA is currently running on another chart to ensure an ATR stop.
Packing it all in one EA would be great!

Hi,

the best strategy is the Triple MA strategy using MA 10-20-30 (or 60). Then there are some other settings which have to be tested by you (in the strategy tester) for each symbol you intend to trade. In generel it is about to find the optimal value for the 'Min. distance in points between signal MA:s' parameter.
