Hi Carsten, I just bought the indicator but i dont know if i am missing something. If the correlation is positive between 2 pairs shouldn't bee the signals given in the same direction? I just got a signal for USDCAD (correlation EURUSD -86) to buy USDCAD and EURUSD. Shouldn't this be signal buy and sell? Correct me if i am wrong :) i also get blank alerts. Can you please advise.

That is a little "bug", because the underlying pairs are not correlated "enough". I will fix that very soon.

... and now we have a possible exit. EURUSD has risen sharply while USDCAD has moved very little. The normal behavior within the (negative) correlation is back. Depending on your technical analysis you could trade only one of the pairs. But then you have no hedging effect and have to work with Stop and Takeprofit.

Problem with blank alerts is now fixed. Please update to 1.20
Hi Carsten, I recently purchased the Netsrac Correlation Trade Indicator 1.20 and have a question. For input for the indicator, the "2nd Symbol to calculate correlation with chartsymbol" appears to accept any pair that is listed in the "Market Watch" section of MT4 for my broker. As long as there is enough history for the symbols, can I really select any symbol that I want? I'm referring to exotic pairs here, not the majors. Is there any limitation that I need to know about? Thanks.

it is indeed as you think. You can use any pair that you can activate in the Market Watch window. Very popular examples away from Forex are BRENT vs WTI or XAU vs XAG. But also think of stock CFD, the correlation of a Dow stock and the Dow Index, between gold and the Japanese Yen ... and so on.
(By the way: I'm currently fitting the indicator for MT5 - the possibilities will be extended there once again).

Suggestion: When using the Two Leg strategy, it would be nice to be able to click the window showing the combined trade value to close both simultaneously.

I am not sure if I have understood you correctly. You cannot close or open trades directly from the indicator because MT4 only allows trading activities via an EA. Displaying is possible, trading is not.

Q: Can the signal line be used for Divergence?
