Hi, thanks for your interest for my product.

It is obvious that a longer LB Period gives more accurate signals taking into account that Darvas Boxes Method tries to catch the big trends.

So I can just tell you that I use this tool irrespective of the time frame with large enough number of LB Periods (usually>=50).

If you use this strategy it is also important to have a good Risk Management method (TP,SL,Time Stop,Trailing Stop...)

I clicked at the X to close the box, but the box still there. is this bug?

In my MT4 Platform clicking the x always delets the indicator from the Chart.

I think this is the way this x functions and if I want to close only the box (panel) I go to the

input parameters box in Panel Settings at Show Info Panel and I select false.

Anyway thanks for your comment. I will search about and I will inform you if something will change.

Oppss sorry, now i know why. There's no overlapping when i view the chart in lower time frame. Overlapping happens only in higher time frame.

I will try to make another Update with  the ability to  change the currency type and the conversion rate and

also showing the total profit/loss (of all entries) - (for each one as in older comments).

I will also see the issue with the SL and TP for such currency types.

The possible time for all these will be about 2+ weeks due to full time job begining again from tommorow...

based on this indicator (BeST Darvas Boxes) but only after doing its next Update to v_1.70

(I hope in a few days) and also some more updates of other BeST Indicators too.

Don't forget always to get the Product Updates because there will be many new features and

improvements (as I said now I am working on v_1.70).

First of all thanks for purchasing my product.

As of the indicator’s settings:

In order for a Darvas box to be drawn we use the LB Period in bars that is how many bars we search backwards for starting a box development.

First of all as you certainly already know N.Darvas used his Boxes Method only for Long trades. Without a doubt, the Darvas box strategy still works best in strong bull markets.

And obviously something similar applies in strong bear markets.

Darvas by default used 3 or 4 days (bars, as in D1 timeframe 1 bar = 1 day) but also Darvas clearly said that he always opened Long (BUY Position) on the new 52-week high, so the LB period is honestly irrelevant.

So today’s traders use many different values for the LB Period especially for the modern fast markets.

For example Daryl Guppy usually works with a 100 bars (days) for developing the boxes (see “Trend Trading” by Daryl Guppy) and all his trading depends on his robust money management.

Do what feels right to you, but always work using a proven and robust money management strategy (that is a large and very important issue in order to be successful in our trading job).

For me the best settings is always a large enough number of LB Period (bars) usually >= 100 and also a timeframe >= H1 (H1 or H4 mainly) while when I use TP and SL Exit Mode I always try values with a

RR ratio of  SL/TP >= ½ (for example SL=50 and TP=100 pips).
