IronTrend is a professional trend-following Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. Works on any symbol and any timeframe.
IronTrend EA automates a clean EMA-based trend-following strategy with two entry methods and a three-stage trade management system designed to protect capital early and lock in profits as the trade develops.
The core idea is simple: enter with the trend, move to break-even quickly, trail the winner, and exit tight when the move matures. No grid. No martingale. No averaging down.
How It Works
The EA identifies high-probability trend setups using a combination of fast, slow, and trend EMAs. When the conditions align, it enters either via a limit order for a precision pullback entry, or a market order when momentum is strong. A separate crossover signal layer captures the beginning of major trend shifts.
Once in a trade, the EA manages the position through three automatic stages:
- Stage 1 — Moves the stop loss to break-even once the trade is in profit, eliminating the risk of a full loss on a winning setup.
- Stage 2 — Activates a wider trailing stop to give the trade room to breathe and continue running with the trend.
- Stage 3 — Tightens the trail aggressively to lock in a significant portion of profit as the move extends further.
The stop never widens. Each stage only improves the position.
