⚙️ How to Enable the News Filter in MT5 (IMPORTANT)

For the EA to download real-time news data, you MUST allow WebRequest in your MT5 terminal before using it (One-time setup):


Step 1: MT5 Terminal Setup

1. Open your MT5 terminal, go to the top menu, click "Tools" > "Options" (or press Ctrl+O).

2. Click on the "Expert Advisors" tab.

3. Check the box for "Allow WebRequest for listed URL:".

4. Double-click the green "+" button and paste this exact link: https://nfs.faireconomy.media

5. Press Enter, then click "OK".


Step 2: EA Input Settings

When attaching the EA to your chart, scroll down to the "=== News Filter Settings ===" section:

- EnableNewsFilter: Set to "true" (To activate the news filter).

- IncludeUSD_News: Set to "true" (Highly recommended for XAUUSD to avoid high-impact USD news).

- HighImpact_Before: Time to stop trading before a Red news event (in minutes) - Default is 60 mins.

- HighImpact_After: Time to resume trading after a Red news event (in minutes) - Default is 120 mins.
