Hi!
I make tests of an EA based on Volume Volatility indicator to discover best parameters. I'll publish them when I'm done, but I can say now that it gives pretty good results, even with "difficult" currency pairs.
For example, on USDJPY and timeframe M15 for a time from 2014.01.01 till this day with ~250 trades EA based on filtered Volume Volatility gave over 13.000$ profit risking only small amount of money (0.1 lot =100$ with 1:100 leverage for each 1.000$ balance), starting from 1000$ balance and with max drawdown ~25%. That profit was for just one currency pair and also not easy currency to trade, so I can imagine how big profit could be if we played more pairs. See an example from EA tester:
Best regards!
Hi!
I've made some tests again and below is an example of an Expert Advisor functioning.
EA is based on Volume Volatility filtered with RSI.
Tests were done from the beginning of January 2016 on only one currency pair and timeframe: EURUSD M5.
As you can see EA gave over 600.000$ starting with only 10.000$ and 0.1 lot/trade.
Maximum drawdown 26% and profit factor 3.56.
It's a great proof that Volume Volatility (Indicator and Dashboard) gives great signals - we only must know how to use them.
Regards!

Hello, I don´t understand how this indi calculates the Volume Volatility, just changes in volume value?. Also, when used without filters, are volatily values same as those in dashboard?.
I am podering to buy this indi or dashboard but don´t know if they work alike.
Regards,
Javier

Hi Javier!
I can't tell you exactly how it is, but I will say what is the idea of functioning. So, algorithm of calculating Volume Volatility is based mainly on two components: Accumulation to Distribution ratio and On Balance Volume. Both are coded by me and used in some specific way, I mean values of my versions of AD and OBV are averaged and compared to the values from the past - you can set it with parameter Factor. It is necessary if we want to have "regulation of relativity" in this indicator :) You can decide how deep in the past you want to analyze changes in volume. If you e.g. compare Factor to Period in Relative Strength Index - green and red bars in Volume Volatility window would be Oversold and Overbought Zones. As you said, Volume Volatility indicator works same as Volume Volatility Dashboard without filtering and only one difference is that dashboard shows us values instead of 10 levels which are in indicator.

Dominik

Hi!
It works on all timeframes and pairs - only parameters for different timeframes, pairs (and of course your strategy) should be adjusted.
Regards!
I have bought this indicator a few days back but when to try to attach to chart it takes lot of time some time its load and some time chart hang never come on chart can you tell how to fix this problem
