The meaning of the lines:

  

1. Blue line with not price label: Grid top line. Is where entry orders executes. Profit check point.
2. Red line with not price label: Grid bottom line. Is where entry orders executes. Profit check point.
3. Yellow line with price label: Beginning of the cycle. price must pullback to it to close the cycle. It is not target, price does not need to get near the line, price just need to pullback to the line. The cycle may reverse and the line will plot on the other side.
4. Blue line with price labels: beak even point for long positions.
5. Red line with price labels: break even point for short positions.
6. Magenta line with price labels. Break even point for the entire cycle. price must cross it to close the cycle. Note that the cycle may change or reverse before closing. This line will change as the cycle changes.

How do I calculate the minimum account balance per each pair to trade ScalperGrid Style?

Balance = (StartLotQty * 2 * Contract_Size) + (minimum_lot_size * 2 * ContractSize)

example:

for startLotQty of 0.01 lot, standard contract size of 100,000 the balance needed is:

Balance = (0.01 * 2 * 100,000)  + (0.01 * 2 *  100,000)

Balance = 4,000

for StartLotQty of 0.05 lot, standard contract size of 100,000 the balance needed is:

Balance = (0.05 * 2 * 100,000)  + (0.01 * 2 *  100,000)

Balance = 10,000 + 2,000

Balance = 12,000

1. mChannel grid style has been renamed to Channel and its parameters are now prefixed with c_ (c and underscore)
2. The original sExpandGrid grid style (method) has been merged into Channel grid style. To activate sExpandGrid set c_ChannelType = Static and Dynamic_Grid=true
3. FloppyChannel grid style has been also merged into Channel. To activate FloppyChannel, set c_ChannelType = Floating
4. ScalperGrid grid style has been merged into Symmetry grid. To activate ScalperGrid set s_Allow_Hedge=false. When allow hedge is false, the EA will be more FIFO compliant. This is the only grid style may be compliant. It is recommended to set Dynamic_Grid=true when disabling hedging.
5. New parameter GridFactorMethod: Range_20day will use 20 days daily range average to calculate grid distance when using GridSizeFactor. ATR_20day will use 20 days daily ATR average instead. This two options works very close each others, but I did found range_20day better, so it is the default.
6. SecondsBetweenSameOrder=30 added. This parameter will set the seconds to wait for opening new order in the same direction. If filters fast moves. I did test 30 and 60, both work good. I default 30. Note this parameter does not sleep the EA, it just pause execution of orders at the same direction of the previews one.
7. s_Allow_Hedge=true parameter. When it is true, you are on the original symmetry, when it is false you are in the old ScalperGrid
8. c_ChannelType = Static parameter: Static is the old mChannel and sExpandGrid, Floating is the old FloppyChannel
9. Bug fixes and memory optimization.
10. Finally, EG104 has been resumed to two grid styles, symmetry for limit orders execution, Channel for stop orders execution.
11. I will post shortly, instructions for using manual mode. (close, target, stop, neutralize, etc)

IMPORTANT: This release will reset your settings when you apply it to a chart. It is important you remove all your EAs from the charts and then apply one by one with your desired parameters. Note I do recommend defaults.

Copy your previews EG104 file to a different location before overriding it, then you will be able to go back if you prefer to do so.

Any bugs, please post here. I will be fixing them.

Good ea, but can you add a paramter for mql5 market plug indicator if the trend market which indicator detected, the ea only open(sell/buy) one kind of orders.

why it was open buy/sell order at same time? you can see the image attached. 

that is correct. symmetry opens two positions, I do recommend you to demo it a bit to understand its functionality.

The most important think is to set max. DD for example 5-10%,

i backtested the ea with max. loss amount 250$, startbalance 5000$ and got good results GBPUSD (2010-2016)

they must protect the account with max.dd, otherwise it will not survive long

it is important to understand that the failure of GRID systems is the use of stop losses, DD limits and so. To be successfully in GRID system you need money, not stop losses.

Do a test with 100K, then do other one with 25K, then one with 5K. You will understand how the money is the solution here.

if you are planning to trade a small account, go with cent account, don't do standard account.

I have been experimenting with EG104 for a couple of weeks and it really is an amazing EA with so much flexibility the possibilities for set ups are endless.

I have been running an demo account with various grids producing an extraordinary result

I have one question. When setting a chart for symmetry style only, I set the Channel magic number to 0 so it does not trade. Then the  chart comes up with "DISABLED" and does not trade. The only way I can make this work is by trading 0.01 lot Channel style as well as symmetry style.

I hope this makes some sense. Advice would be greatly appreciated. 

to trade symmetry mode, set s_MagicNumber to a number and c_MagicNaumber to zero.

lot quantity is specific to each mode. not need to set c_StartLotQty to a number when using symmetry (s_StartLotQty=0.01 or so)

I do recommend you to install from the terminal following these steps:

• open MT4 terminal
• click terminal or hit Ctrl-T
• click Market Tab
• click Purchased on top
• click Install next to EG104 (Expanding Grid)

Sorry to say, but this EA will also kill your account. The grid is based on simple distance. It works for a while, sooner or later it will crash.

You could make a grid that is based on indicator like Force index or MACD. A cross over of signal lines or zero line in right direction would start the next grid step. This is much safer. Compare with Ilanis EA!
