Hi, it seems it's a good indicator altough markets on weekend are closed, so I can see only in backtest. But in backtest  I can't see how alerts mobile  work.

So I'm asking you if the alerts are linked to arrows or to violet or blue candle color highlighted by your indicator?? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Alerts almost every second, then a disturbing continous sound. I appreciate your job to add alerts and notification but for now I see only some chaos. I hope you can fix it. Thanks in advance.

How to Use the Market Structure Shift with FVG Indicator for MT4

This indicator helps you spot potential trading opportunities by identifying market structure shifts and Fair Value Gaps (FVGs). Here's a quick guide on how to use it effectively:

1. Add to Chart:

• Add the indicator to your desired chart (e.g., XAUUSD).
• Important: The indicator's settings are broker and asset-dependent.
  • For brokers with XAUUSD 2-digit pricing (default), use the default settings.
  • For brokers with XAUUSD 3-digit pricing, multiply the MinFVGSize,   CandleBodySize and  bottomArrowLine  inputs by 10.

2. Identify Market Structure Shifts:

• The indicator marks market structure shifts with up/down arrows (green for bullish and red for bearish).
• Colored lines (either blue or purple) are drawn at the bottom of the arrow, the closest the colored line to the bottom of the arrow the better

3. Analyze the Gap:

• Gap Size: Observe the gap between the arrow's bottom and the colored lines (either blue or purple).
  • Small Gap: Indicates a strong signal. Consider entering with a ~1:1 Risk-Reward ratio from recent low/high. 
  • Large Gap: Might suggest a pullback or fake breakout is likely. Exercise caution. 

4. Spot FVGs:

• The indicator highlights FVGs with colored rectangles.
• Easily identify inverse FVG setups.
• A colored line matching the color of, and linked with a previous FVG can signal a high-quality entry.

5. Combine with Other Analysis:

• Use the indicator in conjunction with other technical analysis tools and your own trading strategy.
• Consider factors like trend, support/resistance, and overall market context

• Important Notes:

• Optimize Settings: Due to broker/asset dependencies, test and optimize the input parameters for your specific setup.
• No Repainting: Signals are generated after the candle closes.
• Supplementary Tool: Use this indicator as part of a comprehensive trading strategy, not in isolation.

Hi, Indicator only works on BTCUSD. On other currencies, it changes the color of the candles and the background but does not show anything else. What could be the cause?

Hey Jozue might be related with the predefined settings that you can modify for your particular asset, this is yet another example for EURUSD in M5: MinFVGSize = 44, CandleBodySize = 70, bottomArrowLine = 13. You need to use the tool that looks like a cross and measure the points given by your broker-asset combination. See the second value of the attached image.
