I have a few suggestions,

- Can you please Smooth HA Close as various drop down selectable such as

    (O+H+L+C)/4

    ( O+H+L+2*C)/5

    (H+L+2*C)/4

 

Also, what has been used in the current  formula? Can you please tell if possible?

 

Also, what is the best setting for Smooth HA?

 

Can you please explain the significance of the body and tail? What should be the size of tail for the indicator to tell strong bullish or bearish?

Also, how to avoid indecisive candle?

 

Can you please create a small write up so that everyone gets to know about the indicator?

Yes, of course that we can tell you. We used a lot of sources for our analysis. We decided to follow mainly this one:  http://www.patria.cz/zpravodajstvi/2743853/heikin-ashi--graficky-filtr-zprumeruje-ceny-a-identifikuje-trend.html. I am sorry that the article is in Czech language, please use translator. On the other side, the formula is clearly to see there.

  • Also, what is the best setting for Smooth HA?
We tried a lot of options for smoothing HA. Picked the best looking by the history research and set it as default values. Therefore the default values should be one of the best settings for the indicator
  • Can you please explain the significance of the body and tail? What should be the size of tail for the indicator to tell strong bullish or bearish? Also, how to avoid indecisive candle?

Hi Michael/PipTick Team, 

I am curious if there is a different method for downloading this indicator? Since I am using MT5 on a MacBook, the installation process for some indicators here on MQL5 do not recognize that I already have MT5 - making it unavailable for me to install. 

I typically have to copy/paste the .mq5 file into my 'Indicators' folder within MT5. Please let me know if this is possible as I am very interested to use this indicator.

I've just tried it and it works fine for me. Did you change the colors within indicator's input?

Heikin-ashi candles conveniently displaced near the corresponding conventional price candlesticks is exactly what I wanted. It also helps that there are ha ma smoothing parameters to experiment with.
