Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions with a focus on building systematic trading strategies, backtesting, and deploying successful trading tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, contributing to back-end and software development tasks, implementing object-oriented programming principles, and collaborating with team members. Regularly, the engineer will also assist in troubleshooting and optimizing system performance.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate:

  • Thrives in complex problem-solving and analytical challenges
  • Has strong knowledge of statistics, calculus, and quantitative methods
  • Brings a creative and structured approach to systematic trading
  • Can write efficient, production-ready MQL5 code
  • Has basic working knowledge of Python, SQL, and Excel
  • Is familiar with Git, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and general system design principles
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
