Please note that signal filters of this indicator are just classic Ichimoku filters. They indicate a potential market trend that should be checked with other technical tools. In the range market there will be false signals.

In future versions I try to add more filters to reduce late trend signals.

Hi. firstly, thanks for the Ichimoku Trend Alert MT5 - it works perfectly.
I am studying Hosoda's works and I am missing the 3 line signal - these are good signals for "pyramiding" - increasing positions in a trend:
a. An upward signal occurs when the price is above the Tenkan sen line, below it is the Kijun sen line, and below them is the Senkou span A
b. a downtrend signal occurs in reverse order, i.e. the lowest of the elements on the chart must be the price, above it the Tenkan sen line, above it the Kijun line, and above the Kijun the closer edge of the downtrend cloud, i.e. the Senkou span A

Additionally, could you add functionality so that each instance of Ichimoku Trend Alert that is in the profile sends either a freely defined name e.g. chickou span/ price or at least the window (chart) number in the profile; so that I do not have to look in the metrader when a signal comes in and so that it is clear what type of signal is coming in. I have 3 types of signals defined and it is not clear from the notifications which signal it is.

About the setup you described I think it can be set by current filters like this:

Correct me if I'm wrong.

About the alarm message: I will add new option to the indicator setting named "Alert Note" so you can type a text (a unique name or comment) to be added in the beginning of the alert messages.

Oh that's right - that's it - a 3 line signal. I hadn't thought of setting up the filters that way. Thanks a lot.

May I know is there any limitation due to signal not coming out, or can you enlighten on what is the formula for the buy and sell signal.

There is a problem with the indicator not working in the strategy tester. I will try to fix it in the next update.
