As far as I know you can use any time frame. But the best time frame is where indicator predict the volatility best.

You will need statistical sense to use this indicator at its best intended purpose.

i try to use your indicator into expert advisor but i get always 0.0

I wrong something or your indicator it's not contactable from expert advisor?

If you are using the old version of  GARCH Improved Nelder Mead, then make sure to update to the latest version 3.3 of GARCH Improved Nelder Mead.
