MT5Mirror Discord and Telegram Copier

MT5Mirror copies trading signals from Discord and Telegram channels into MetaTrader 5. This Expert Advisor is the MetaTrader 5 part: it places the trades that the MT5Mirror desktop app reads from the channels you are a member of.

Requirements

• The MT5Mirror desktop app running on the same computer or VPS. The app needs a license. Without the app the EA does nothing.
• Windows 10/11 or a Windows VPS.
• A broker that permits automated trading. Hedging accounts are recommended, because split take-profits open several positions on one symbol.
• http://127.0.0.1:5055 added under Tools > Options > Expert Advisors > Allow WebRequest. This address is the app on your own computer. The EA sends no data anywhere else.

What it does

• Opens market and pending orders on commands from the app
• Modifies stop loss and take profit, moves to break-even, closes partially or fully
• Splits a signal across TP1, TP2 and TP3
• Keeps an emergency stop loss from the app in place, also while the app is closed
• Maps symbol names with suffixes (for example EURUSDm)
• Shows its connection status in the top right corner of the chart

What it does not do

• It contains no trading strategy and provides no signals.
• It does not read Discord or Telegram itself. The app does that.

Setup

1. Allow the WebRequest address above.
2. Install the MT5Mirror app, enter your license and click Auto-Detect.
3. Attach this EA to one chart per account and switch Algo Trading on.
4. The chart shows "MT5Mirror ON" once it is connected.

Inputs

• Server URL (default http://127.0.0.1:5055): address of the app. Leave it unless support tells you otherwise.
• Max Slippage points (default 3): largest accepted price deviation for market orders.
• Symbol Suffix: text your broker adds to symbol names, for example "m" for EURUSDm. Leave blank if none.
• Adjust tick value factor: correction for symbols whose tick value your broker reports wrongly, for example "XAUUSD=100,US100=10". Leave blank normally.
• Adjust tick value to account currency: correction for symbols quoted in another currency, for example "HK$50,US100". Leave blank normally.
• Refresh interval in ms (default 500): how often the EA asks the app for new commands. Raise it on slow computers.
• Enable logging and Log level (Debug, Info, Error): detail of the messages in the Experts tab.

Strategy Tester

The app cannot run in the Strategy Tester. There the EA only places small example orders to show that order handling works. These results say nothing about any signal channel.

MT5Mirror provides no signals and no trading advice. Trading carries risk of loss. Test your setup on a demo account first.
