DESCRIPTION
Non-repainting signals: a BUY or SELL is drawn only after the candle has closed, and it is never moved or deleted afterwards.
Rolux Gold Dax Scalper is a signal indicator for MetaTrader 5, made for scalping Gold and the DAX. It works on any symbol and any timeframe, and is best used on the lower timeframes (M1 to M5).
How it works
The indicator draws a Rolux Line (a double linear regression) with an ATR band around it. A BUY or SELL signal is drawn only when a whole candle closes beyond the Rolux Line and the ATR band confirms the direction. Confirmed signals never change after the candle has closed: they are not redrawn and do not disappear.
Key features
- BUY / SELL triangles drawn on the chart, with adjustable size and distance from the candle.
- Candle type selectable from a drop-down on the chart: Normal, Heikin Ashi, Heikin Ashi smoothed, Linear Regression, Hull.
- Higher-timeframe SMA line (rising or falling colour) that shows the larger trend, so you can see whether a signal goes with the bigger move or against it. It is an indication only.
- TREND button on the chart that shows the trend direction at a glance.
- Only BUY and Only SELL buttons: show only the signals in the direction you want to trade.
- Optional PRE-SIGNAL button (off by default): shows a provisional mark on the forming candle. It is the only provisional mark and it can change until the candle closes.
- Blinking signal candle, so the latest signal is easy to spot. Colours and speed are adjustable.
- Daily percentage change panel and the Rolux logo on the chart.
- Alerts: popup and push notification on a new signal, and when the higher-timeframe SMA changes direction or price crosses it.
- Colours, line length, ATR multiplier, signal mode and the number of bars calculated are adjustable in the inputs.
Recommended use
Gold (XAUUSD) and DAX on M1 to M5. It also works on forex pairs and other symbols. It combines well with Rolux Session Trading (free, shows the market sessions) and Rolux Scalping Panel 66 (on-chart trading panel).
