YZH Breachline

No grid, no martingale.

YZH Breachline runs five independent breakout strategies on XAUUSD inside a single Expert Advisor. Each strategy uses its own magic number, so they never interfere with one another.

Strategies

  • D1 support/resistance breakout (two variants, A and B)
  • H4 support/resistance breakout
  • H1 support/resistance breakout
  • H1 session-range breakout

Trade management

  • Every trade has a fixed stop loss and take profit.
  • Break-even and trailing stop protect open profit.
  • No grid, no martingale, no averaging down. A losing trade closes at its stop and is never recovered by adding volume.

How it was built The parameters were optimized only on 2019–2023 data. They were then tested on 2024–2026, a period the optimization never saw, and also on real-tick data, not only 1-minute modeling. The strategies stayed profitable on that unseen period.

Backtest summary (XAUUSD, 10,000 USD, fixed lot, 2019 – Oct 2026)

  • Low risk (0.04 lot per 10,000): net profit 28,588 USD, max equity drawdown about 9% of deposit
  • Medium risk (0.08 lot per 10,000): net profit 61,977 USD, max equity drawdown about 18% of deposit
  • High risk (0.12 lot per 10,000): net profit 96,910 USD, max equity drawdown about 29% of deposit
  • Profit factor 1.74, 3,459 trades

These are backtest results on historical data. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Risk control One input sets the risk: LotsPer10000 (lot per 10,000 of balance). Lots can stay fixed or grow with the balance (Compounding). Before every order the EA checks margin, volume limits and the broker's minimum stop distance, so it never sends an order the account cannot carry.

Recommendations

  • Symbol: XAUUSD only
  • Timeframe: any (H1 recommended); the EA reads all timeframes it needs itself
  • Account: hedging account, low-spread broker, VPS for 24/5 operation
  • Minimum deposit: 1,000 USD at the default risk; raise LotsPer10000 only as the balance grows
  • Optional news filters (NFP, interest-rate decisions, CPI) and trading-hour windows are built in and off by default

Inputs

  • MagicBase: base magic number; strategy i uses MagicBase + i
  • LotsPer10000: lot per 10,000 of balance, per strategy
  • Compounding: true = size from live balance; false = size from FixedBalance
  • FixedBalance: balance used for sizing when Compounding is off
  • OnlyUp: size from peak balance only (lots do not shrink in drawdown)
  • MaxLots: maximum lot per order
  • W0 … W4: weight of each strategy (0 = off)
  • News filters and trading hours: optional, off by default
