Nova 007 ended because its equity reached the funded account's maximum loss limit. Painful, but look at what that rule does. It doesn't negotiate, and it doesn't let a bad stretch quietly turn into a disaster.
Most personal accounts have no such rule, so losses drift, deposits get topped up, and a bad month becomes a bad year. You can build the rule yourself. General education, not financial advice.
A daily limit, the most you'll lose in one day. A total limit, the drawdown from your starting balance you'll accept before stopping completely, at a number that wouldn't change your life. A plan for what happens next, stop, review, and don't top up to chase it. Measure on equity, since open trades count. And write it all down before you start, because limits decided mid-drawdown get renegotiated.
The free demo shows how deep a bad stretch can get on history, so you can set limits with real numbers:

$199 ends October 31st. 3 days left.
Most sales pages only argue one side. Here are both.
The case for: $199 is $131 under the $330 it becomes on November 1st, for the identical EA. Every update so far has been free for existing owners. Everything is checkable, the free demo, the daily Telegram record, and the Nova 008 page. And the design is a hard stop on every trade, no martingale, no grid.
The case against: the same approach lost a $10,000 funded account this month. Nova 008 is in a drawdown and may not recover. It struggles in ranging markets, and nobody can say when the market changes. A stop isn't a guarantee, in a fast market or a gap the fill can land worse than the stop price. And a discount makes a mismatched product cheaper, not better for you.
If you need it to be profitable soon, or a losing month would hurt you, don't buy it at any price. If you want a rules-based approach and will keep your size small, try the free demo first.

Not everyone reading these is going to buy, and that's fine. Plenty of people are learning, comparing, or watching from a distance. So here's what's free, with no pressure attached.
The free demo, which runs in the Strategy Tester and shows the whole logic working through historical gold sessions. The daily record on Telegram, every trade of Nova 008 posted with screenshots and details, wins and losses alike. Nova FI Trader, a completely free EA with every input openly named, so you can change one value and watch what changes. And Nova GOLD Breakout through PU Prime, free for the EA itself, live accounts only, no deadline, so keep it small and research the broker like any other.
If you do decide later, $199 runs through October 31st, then $330. The free options stay either way.

When an EA disappoints someone in its first month, the cause is usually something around the EA, not the EA. Seven mistakes that come up again and again, general education, not financial advice.
Sizing for the good weeks instead of the worst month you can imagine. Running it on a computer that sleeps, since an EA only trades while the platform is running and connected, which is why many people use a VPS. Changing settings right after a loss. Ignoring what gold actually costs on your account during busy hours. Running several EAs on one account without separate identifiers like magic numbers. Judging by days instead of weeks. And funding it with money you can't afford to lose, the one that matters most.
The free demo lets you rehearse several of these on history with no real money involved:

We could spend these five days telling you to hurry. We'd rather give you a way to decide on evidence instead of on a countdown.
Monday, run the free demo in the Strategy Tester on gold M1, over a long range that includes choppy periods. Tuesday, read the report properly: maximum drawdown, largest loss, longest losing run, average win against average loss. Wednesday, open Nova 008 and read the daily record on Telegram, then compare its drawdown with what you saw in the test. Thursday, set your limits: how much you could lose without it affecting your life, and a size small enough that a rough month wouldn't hurt. Friday, decide. Buy at $199, take the free route through PU Prime, or pass.
If the demo and the record didn't convince you, passing is the right call. We'd rather you pass than buy because of a countdown.

Straight answers to what you might be wondering after the Nova 007 news.
Does it mean the EA doesn't work? It means the EA lost a funded account in a month that suited it badly. Real information, not proof either way. Before this month the same path passed two evaluation steps and produced two payouts. Is Nova 008 safe? No. It's in a big drawdown and needs a big comeback, it could fail, and we'll post that too. Where's the record? In our Telegram group, every trade documented daily with screenshots and details, wins and losses alike. Should you still try the EA? Only if you're comfortable that it just lost a funded account. Start with the free demo, keep your size small, and only trade money you can afford to lose.
$199 until October 31st, then $330. The free route through PU Prime has no deadline and runs on a live account only.
We'd rather you decide with the full picture than a flattering one.

This month, gold kept ranging. Day after day it pushed up, pushed down, and went nowhere. Breakout logic is built for moves that follow through, so when almost every session ranges, false breaks stack up and so do losing trades.
Markets move between trending and ranging, and most strategies are comfortable in only one. A bad regime tells you something useful: how deep the drawdown goes, whether the risk controls hold, whether your account would have survived at your size. What it can't tell you is whether the long-run edge is intact or gone. One month is a small sample, and it can't separate a hard regime from a weaker edge than hoped.
A better question for any EA than "how much did it make in good times" is "how bad was its worst regime, and could my account survive two of them in a row?"
You can explore it yourself. Run the free demo over a choppy, sideways period:

A Month Of Ranging Markets: What It Teaches About Any Strategy...
Anita Monus
Most people look at a signal's growth line and assume it shows everything. Two terms change how you read any chart.
Balance only changes when a trade closes. It's a record of finished business and it can look very smooth. Equity is the balance plus or minus the profit or loss on every trade still open, so it reflects what's really happening in the account right now.
That gap is where misleading charts hide. A system that keeps losing trades open and adds to them can show a calm balance while equity quietly dives, and the balance catches up with a bang when the losses finally get realized.
So look at the equity curve and the drawdown on equity, not just balance growth. Many signal pages show both.
Every Nova GOLD Breakout position has a hard stop, so there's no averaging down and no waiting for losers to come back. That keeps the gap small, and it means the chart has visible dips. Check both accounts yourself.

We keep mentioning a funded account and a verification account. Here's what that means, in general terms, since rules vary by firm.
A prop firm lets traders prove themselves on an evaluation account before giving them access to its capital. The rules are strict: a profit target, a daily loss limit, and a total loss limit. Break one and the account ends. Many firms use two steps, a challenge, then verification with a smaller target to check the first result wasn't a one-off. Pass both and you may be offered a funded account, usually with a share of the profit.
Where Nova stands: the first step of the $100k evaluation reached its target. Its verification step is running now as Nova 008 and hasn't been passed. Nova 007 is a separate $10k account already funded. Both are in a losing stretch, and both are public.
Because the firm sets the balance, nothing can be quietly reset around a bad stretch, and a rough enough run can end the account. It's a tougher test than a normal signal.
