ISSUE

We are on a Forex copy service on a brokerage platform. Observation is that it is possible to loose all funds in some subscription services. All account are copied in proportion to the traders account depending on the deposit value of the account. Another item of concern is that the draw down on some subscription services due to trading strategy is as much as 70% which is not comfortable for followers

NOTE

The Forex Copy Services is run by a trader on the brokerage service. The draw down is culled from the statistics of the trader. There have been situations where trader looses his whole balance. This is a conservative approach.

OBJECTIVES

We want to open counter trades that are in order (same in Value as trades open on subscription and also in the same ascending order) E. G when the trader is buying, we begin to sell when total draw down of trades on the subscription equals 20% of the balance. Counter trades are opened in the same sequence as subscription trades in multiples.

As long as trend is moving in direction opposite to the subscription trades, every time market moves 5-8 pips that position should be closed and a new position in multiples of the first should be opened.

Target=8pips

Loss management: if counter trade opens and retraces 3pips below opened position, it should be closed.

Example

Account Balance= $1000

Already Opened Trades(Sizes)=

Buy 0.01

Buy 0.05

Buy 0.1

Buy 0.5

Buy 1.0

Buy 2.0 and so on

Profit/loss on positions opened= -$200 (20% of balance)

At this point, a counter trade(same in value as the first trade opened on the subscription)=Sell 0.01(in this case) should be opened.

if Market moves 8 pips in the direction of the counter trade, ,this Sell 0.01 position should be closed and another trade Sell ( 0.05) should be opened.if Market moves 8 pips in the direction of the counter trade this Sell 0.05 position and so on.

if counter trade opens and retraces 3pips below opened position, it should be closed..

Conclusion

The whole essence is to manage the drawing on the subscription service, hereby, reducing the draw down to a tolerable (40%). If after this mechanism on operation and draw down equals 40% or more, all trades should be closed.
