Can anyone modify backtester  to use non-trading data and simulates data for engineering algorithm research ? To do data validation, identify faulty/abnormal trends in data using diagnostic, prognostic models. Able to import data from a MATLAB .data file or CSV. Should allow logic inputs for data validation, algroithm manipulation and diagnostic model.
