I am using an EA for trading the news. What I need is to add TP1 and TP2. Briefly described, if the EA opens a position of 1 lot (changeable), I need the EA to split the position (0.5/0.5lots or differently as I set) upon reaching Take Profit 1 (let's say after 30 points/3pips - changeable) and let the other portion of the position run into TP2 (changeable as well in the settings).
So the input parameters would be:
TP1 Lot Size.
TP1 in Points.
TP2 Lot Size.
TP2 in Points.
Obviously the sum of lot sizes of the TP1 and TP2 would need to equal the original Lot Size of the position. Example: Initial position opened by EA is 1 lot. Upon reaching TP1, 0.3 would close as profit and upon reaching TP2, 0.7 would close as profit.
Secondly, I also need to add the magic number so that I can run the same EA on multiple charts of the same currency pair.
