2. Requirements Specification 
Overview:
I am looking for an experienced MQL5 developer to build a robust, fully custom Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 5 tailored for trading Gold (XAUUSD).
Core Specifications & Features:
Asset & Timeframe:
Designed specifically for XAUUSD.
Timeframe should be selectable directly from the EA inputs.
Trading Strategy:
Must implement a clear, logic-based strategy suitable for backtesting (no random/arbitrary entries).
Allow toggling Buy and Sell orders independently from inputs (Enable Buy / Enable Sell).
Lot Size & Risk Management:
Fixed lot size option.
Dynamic lot size option based on account balance percentage risk (% Risk per trade).
Mandatory automatic Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP) placement.
Trailing Stop and Break-Even features (with ON/OFF toggles and customizable points/pips).
Maximum allowed open trades limit.
Duplicate entry prevention (avoid multiple trades on the same signal).
Filters & Safety Controls:
Spread Filter: EA must block new trades if the current spread exceeds the user-defined maximum limit.
Trading Hours Filter: Configurable trading start and end times.
Daily Loss Limit: Automatically stop opening new trades upon reaching a specified daily loss threshold.
Daily Profit Target: Automatically stop opening new trades upon reaching a specified daily profit target.
Logging & Usability:
Print clear debug/log messages in the Experts/Journal log stating entry reasons, trade direction, and active parameters.
All parameters and settings must be fully customizable from the Inputs tab without editing source code.
Code Quality & Testing:
Clean, well-structured, modular, and well-commented code for future maintenance.
Thoroughly tested in MT5 Strategy Tester using historical data prior to delivery.
Avoid curve-fitting / overfitting to historical data.
The EA must operate properly on Demo accounts before being deployed on Live accounts.
Deliverables Required:
Source code file (.mq5) with clean code structure.
Compiled executable file (.ex5).
Brief installation and setup guide for MT5.
