A word of caution to fellow developers:
Never start work on a project, or deliver any part of it, before the client has funded the project and officially selected you.
I recently worked for a client before being selected. I completed everything he asked for, and each time I finished, he requested another change and told me "do this one and I will select you, we will continue and I will release the payment." In the end he left and picked another developer, with no respect for my time, my effort, or the trust I placed in him.
The lesson is simple: funding and official selection first, then the work begins. Before that, keep the conversation general and only prove you understand the problem, without handing over a usable solution. This type of client drains your effort for free and walks away, so protect your time
